I'm retired with every day free but I tend to watch in the AM for motivation to get out in the yard.

Thanks for that. I need to rustle up some motivation right now, we are to get really cold tonight and I have more plants to get moved.

I watch your video when I have time. So I will watch it when I found it. Usually I sat down after lunch and pick up my iPad and watch your video.

Thank you. I let the hens out briefly while I was working out there, they have not been out much as we have 4 mountain lions roaming the neighborhood and a pack of coyotes. So the girls made the best of free ranging this day.

Thanks for sharing this video. I think a Wednesday and Saturday video schedule would be good, but just my opinion. As you get ready for winter I'd enjoy seeing a video of you organizing the greenhouse. I need to do the same here!

Great idea, and it needs to be done, it is quite a mess!

Another great video -- thanks! I enjoy your videos because you come across as one gardener chatting with other gardeners, not trying to be the teaching expert 😊. As for days to post videos, personally I would love to have a Saturday morning video to watch with my morning coffee. My favorite, Garden Answer, doesn't post on Saturday mornings and it would be great to have someone to fill that gap.

Good to know about Saturdays, this is one of the days I had in mind. When I am talking to the camera I feel like I am talking to garden friends so it is easy for me to come across that way.

Will check the minis out as they may be great for low maintenance. I’m open to anytime for videos. It’s the live channels that can cut into my day. Live shows are best without commercials and for interaction.

I have high hopes for the mini ones. I have wanted to try these annabelle types for awhile but have shied away because of our heavy snows. But I don't think that will matter with the shorties.

I am retired so any time is fine for me, but I find that most of the videos that I watch are scheduled Monday through Friday leaving the weekend with little to watch/listen to when I am cooking or cleaning.

I just want to thank you so much. That is the one i have. one thing about wee white... they don't like wet feet. I have them in my garden for a few years and they didn't do well at first. I have them facing east so they get morning sun. They like to dry out
@FlowerPatchFarmhouseАй бұрын
Thanks for the tip, great to know. Where I am thinking of putting them does dry out so it just may well be perfect.

I would like more information about where you got your hydrangeas. I like the price and have been looking for more hydrangeas.
@FlowerPatchFarmhouse29 күн бұрын
They were on clearance at Home Depot online, I don't know if they still have the same deal but keep shopping, you can find bargains but it takes patience. Also if you have a local Lowes, they have bargain racks with mark downs all the time. I have found some great deals there but you never know what will be available, or when.

I have a question: Can I over winter, my hydrangeas in my greenhouse? I keep it heated between 37-42 degrees. at night.But then it gets way warmer during the day if the sun is out. It can get up to 60 depending on how cold it is outside. Is that temperature during the day too warm for it to go dormant? My 2nd question: I know when we prune things, it encourages new growth. Will it encourage new growth when it's supposed to be going to dormant? For some reason, I have had no luck when I buy panical hydranges. I can't keep them alive as babies. I don't know what i'm doing wrong. I can keep everything else alive. But not those for some reason. To answer your question on what day and time will be best. I am retired, so I'm open to any day. I am going to leave that answer up to all the wonderful ladies and gentlemen who work and have a lot busier schedules than what I do. I enjoy your videos so much. I learn a lot from you.❤❤

To be frank, I don't know for sure if they will do okay in your greenhouse conditions, but usually panicle hydrangeas can be quite tough. Though it sounds like they are not that tough for you. Most don't prune their panicle hydrangeas until early Spring when new buds are first popping out on the stems. I am the one that is a maverick on that since the heavy snow here breaks the canes so badly. I am going to test my Limelight this year and tie it securely to a t post and see if I can get through the winter without trimming it and do it in Spring. Who knows, it just might make it with the support.
