My grandpa used to tell the story of how during WWII there was a prison break in our area. German soldiers caught and shot most of the men that escaped. My grandpa's family hid one of the prisoners in their house; never judged him, asked what he'd done, didn't matter then. They saved his life. But then grandpa and his family had to move to the other side of the country. Later they heard that the man they helped survived the war and tried to find them to say thank you, but they never found each other. Long story short, this video reminded me of that story... Great job as always, I've been waiting to meet Richie 😀💯 bon voyage!

I hesitated to post this comment, because it's long and personal. But wth, maybe it can help someone else - dealing, adjusting, feeling understood or just understanding - so i'll post it. Tl, dr: LOVE the video. Didn't expect big feels today but here they are. And it goes deeper than usual. I'm German, their last name, Aronowitz? No further explanation needed. Vague inherited guilt from two generations ago still feels real. But then...you managed to turn the whole thing around and it was...cathartic. Thank you for making me think of my grandparents today. My grandfathers were drafted in the last desperate war efforts as cannon fodder, at 16 and 17 years old. They almost immediately ended up as French and American POWs, and my grandmother walked over the frozen sea from Silesia to Germany to flee from soldiers invading her village. They were not on the right side, but also not on the wrong. Pawns pushed around by power hungry assholes and circumstances, who were lucky where so many others were and still are not. Fuck fascism. Fuck war. Stay strong, fight in your own small way to prevent this ever happening again. That's what i'm taking away from this video

Last week I watch half and today I finished it this wholesome video if a a very good trilogy that I end up loving a bit more then others. "Hey come on, I cooke you a casserole last weekend." should be a bumper sticker 😅 And I always say "Jee Louise!" 😁 I'm so proud myself I didn't get that too attached to him, it remind me to an old story from my mom's grandfather in the 1920's. Have to admit this voice with the New York or New Jersey accents kinda reminds me a bit to Adam Sandler, I actually like him specially in his more dramatic roles, like in 'Reign Over Me' which it's so underrated, very sad but I recommended it.
