@@marymiller5824 I'm from the UK so prices are probably different. Here cuttings go anything between £150 to 300 only private sellers 😔 When I've seen my top cutting for £130 I had to have her! The variegation was the most beautiful I've ever seen on one for sale! It's an early Christmas present 🎁 🥰

Just got these lights Feen. I got the set up for the top of a glass table…. it looks like your base, the two sides, are longer than mine. I thought I could put my Monstera Aurea underneath it 😢 but I may have to use it just as a single standing light

I was looking for some growlights to add at home. I had a look at Mother and placed an order for a couple and also a homeforest set up. Only after completing the order, I found out they are located at less than 10km from my home 😊. It’s a small world, I guess. Thanks for sharing the info.

Not sure if we can get these in the UK but I will be looking. I can't get an Ikea plant cabinet for love or money as they are never in stock but I have found some nice shelving units that come with covers so will probably have to settle for those (and I have put them on my xmas list, lol). I know she gets that material in some type of like hardware/home improvement store. For her I think a Canadian Tire but in the US you could find it at Lowe’s, etc

yes it's just fine! I've heard the new growth can be really light, but then over time it gets the more traditional looking leaves and that has definitely been true for mine.

I know you said your plants love the lights, but were those plants in a controlled humidity environment like that before or had any other addition light? So, could it be a mixture of both? I know my plants love any added light too. Just feel like it’s a huge investment (especially for my collection) and would love to see if you had a spectrum reader to see the difference between some of your grow lights! Especially because I can’t find much other about the sustainability plan aside from the aluminum and LED. Not about how their workers are treated, where it’s all made, sourced or their emissions from producing the lights and shipping or how they counteract that. I guess when I hear sustainable I think about all those too. Thank you for sharing your opinion on it!! Love your new set up!!

Hey Cassie! Most of the plants were previously in regular household conditions, no humidifier or grow lights. So moving them to the high humidity of the cabinet has definitely helped as well, I'm sure. A spectrum reader is definitely a good idea, and I am interested in getting one as well so maybe I will pick one up. Those are definitely great questions regarding the sustainability, I totally agree with you there. I will see if I can glean any information regarding them. Thanks so much for watching!

Yes I do!! I haven't really had pests in my cabinets (*knock on wood*)... except for an instance of mites, but I am pretty sure they were just soil mites due to the high humidity.
