In this video, I'm reviewing Neutrogena Purescreen Mineral UV Tint SPF, a tinted mineral sunscreen that claims to have no white cast and comes in 4 shades! Hooray!
I've been using this sunscreen for the past few weeks and I have to say that I'm impressed! This tinted sunscreen is good for people who prefer all-mineral sunscreens with absolutely no white cast. I also talk about whether it might be a good dupe for the Ilia C-Beyond Triple Serum SPF.

As a guy I don't use tinted sunscreen but this is my first time trying one and Dr dray got me to try it and I love it and you can't even tell I have anything on my face which I like but it hides my redness a bit its such a good sunscreen.

Thanks for this wonderful review! Fellow NC’er here, I think I’ll stick with my HG: Elta MD Physical Lightly Tinted. I bet that tint would be perfect for your skin tone as well.

@@DanaRipperton Yep - our skin varies greatly so we never know until we try! EltaMD (for me) is a winner: a light tint that doesn't discolor my face, NOT sticky/tacky, absorbs into skin immediately, provides highly reliable sun protection, wears perfectly under foundation - almost like a makeup primer. I was tempted to save some $$ & try the Neutrogena before your review, but don't like the color range (I too am between a light & medium). Plus - in your demo it appears to sit on top of your skin & does not absorb, so I can't imagine it behaving well under foundation.

As always Dana... enjoying your sunscreen reviews!!! I saw this new sunscreen from NEUTROGENA and got a little excited about..Dr.Dray seems to like it. This tinted one looks nice on your skin in my opinion. I have dry skin therefore extra hydrating products are a plus. I find that most mineral sunscreens give a somewhat tired - look complexion to the skin... 🤔... maybe it's just me... I also find them kind of drying at the end of the day. I am currently using the mineral version from the brand EPIONCE which is quite nice.... Still, the ashy look keeps coming back 🤔... Thanks for your review

Sometimes a grey undertone can make the tired look. Something to look for.

Yeah, mineral sunscreens can definitely be drying. The zinc oxide can do that.

Thank for the review. I'd be interested to see how the Light tint looks on your face. I'm trying to find an affordable sunscreen for my dry skin that doesn't turn me orange. So far I like EltaMD UV Physical the best.

Thank you for testing all these sunscreens. I really like this one. I have drier and lighter skin than you; it might be a winner for me. I'm really bummed out b/c I got a reaction to the Supergoop (I really horrible rash all over that took me two days to get rid of). I'm definitely a mineral sunscreen girls. I'm glad this one didn't sting your eyes. That's been the only thing even with some mineral sunscreens.

Look for Butyloctyl Salicylate in your mineral sunscreens. It is not an active ingredient but it acts as one in some ways and can cause irritation…this might be the cause

Can you recommend a healthy tinted skin moisturizer? I work nights so don't necessarily need a sunscreen.
