I want to try couple of combos: Plasmancer + 20 warriors with reapers with ablator (stealth) ench + royal warden + CCB with weave (4+++) ench and res orb + 2 spyders with gloom prisms (4+++ against psychic) as offense. 2 Doomstalkers + 10 deathmarks + technomancer with cloack and coronal (all units in 6" heaving leader) ench + 3 heavy destroyers with AT guns as backline.

i went up against Necrons today. Suffice to say that even ten wyches with Lilith leading them could not scratch Lychguard. However, I got another 5 Scourges in the mail today, and that makes me happy.

Very nice battle report, Skari. I loved to finally see the new rules in action. I have to get a Cronos now, it seems very important. I have a question regarding venom splitting Kabalites. Would it be possible to split one unit of Kabalites and join the other half with an archon and the court and put them into a raider. It seems to depend on the order. Do I do the split first or the join first? If the splitting comes first it sounds legit. If the joining comes first the resulting unit would be too big to fit one half (7 guys) into the venom.

At 15:01 it appears John has placed a Lychguard on top of the objective marker. It'll take everyone a while to get used to not doing that, but it's something we have to remember going forwards. Thankfully it didn't affect anything.

I love this style of battle report! Keep it up, Lord Skari. However, when you say that you don't think battle shocked units should be able to become empowered, I disagree. What do the dark kin resort to when they are stressed or anxious or unsure in the heat of the moment? Especially during the violent display of battle? ... Pain!!!

Awesome battle report! Ill say this though. As for being able to pain token a battleshocked unit.... it does make sense. The reason is "Drukhari" they love i stilling fear and pain against everything.. but that doesnt rule themselves put too hahaha. Masochistic mentality 😂

I'm not a drukhari player but the old start collecting box with two raiders look quite good if you can find it. It was one of the best start collecting boxes overall

but it's so fluffly if Drukhari can use Power of Pain while beeing Battleshocked... wouldn't beeing in such an ecstatic state of fear not what they are searching for? Like Leonidas and his 300 spartans they where quite happy while being killed. I don't thinked that they care much about objectivs or orders, just killing and be killed in glorias battle.

I don't mind the concept of battle shocked units not being able to use Power from Pain as I love morale mechanics being really powerful, but I would only want it if every faction didn't get the benefit of their faction rule such as Oath of Moment and Fate Dice while battle shocked at the same time. Great battle report though guys, keep up the good work!

I personally think they destroyed the flavour of armies and they promnised us power level was gone, instead it's now the ONLY option. I'm extremely unhappy with 10th. The core rules are great, but the indices and list building is awful.

I think your unit of scourges is illegally constructed. Scourges are only allowed to take 1 dark lance not 4 and that's regardless of unit size. I think thats why 5 models are 120 points and 10 models are 200 points... I'm not liking the new wargear aspect of 10th but I did enjoy this batrep... Drukhari lists in 10th prob need 3 Ravagers with lances as a good base similar to your 9th list with 3 tantalus. Looking forward to the next one and a points decrease for drukhari

Looks to me as if they want us to play with the models given in the actual box. Scourge sprues do not contain 4 lances. They have 1 of each heavy weapon. I think that's why it's worded 'one' and then numbered '1.'

@SkaredCast I respectfully disagree. When the rule says the number '1,' that refers to the actual weapon swap. 1 for 1. When the rule says 'with one,' that refers to the total allowed in the unit... I just don't think scourges are pointed correctly. We're over paying.
