Also the type of chest you use will determine the type of weapons. The large chests mainly contain heavy weapons (why you’re getting a bunch of arc welders 😂) and some others like em weapons, etc. the medium size cases will contain your rifles, and shotguns, and the smaller cases will contain pistols, and smaller weapons. So whatever build you are focusing, remember to build the correct chest. The larger chests don’t give you more, they just give you heavier weapons like the bridger, miniguns, arc welders etc. it is funny to me that those large chests are spawning Grendel’s though lol. Hope this helps

@@Kal853_ heads up, after the patch yesterday it looks like the full delete method shared here is hit or miss. I followed every step to a T multiple times and the best I could get was maybe 25-50% of the chests I stacked would actually drop gear into my inventory when I deleted the outpost. I know it’s much faster the full delete process, but I was barely getting any rare/epic/legendary weapons and sometimes it just wouldn’t work for me at all. The fix is very simple, after you place the crates, quick save and then quick load, DONT delete the outpost. Instead you’ll want to open the crates manually. If you want to be able to reroll the crates you placed instead of having to do the entire process all over follow these steps. Create the outpost, place the crates of the desired type, do a STANDARD full save, then a new quick save, load the quick save, and open the crates. If you didn’t get anything you like, load the full save, create a new quick save, and then load that quick save, and go through the process like this until you get something you like. From that point you will have to start over to get more weapons and save the weapons you like of course.

Last tip (for now) lol, I learned this the hard way so don’t do this. If you find weapons you like and want to do a new batch of crates, whatever you do, DONT leave the weapons in the crates that you liked and start the process over. Something happens to Epic and legendary weapons specifically when you leave them in the crate (even when the crate is opened) and their epic/legendary traits are removed once you load the new quick save. I think if you picked up the weapon and then put it back in the crate it might not happen, but try at your own risk. I left some SICK guns in their crates so I could look at all of the better drops as I went, annnnnd lost a legendary shotty, an epic magshear, an epic magshot, and an epic va’run rifle. The weapons were still there for me to grab with their tier and stats remaining the same, but all of the legendary/epic traits were deleted after the load to start a new batch. Heads up. I hope that was clear lol, if not, ask away.

**FOR PEOPLE WHO THINK THIS IS NOT WORKING** Be sure to go back into your ships cargo hold and check for the items there if they are not appearing in your inventory. I thought this was somehow already patched out but turns out the loot was just being directed to my ships cargo hold. Also 1. you can repeat this process at the same location until your cargo hold and inventory is full, to maximize yield. 2.The vendor with the most credits is Zuri Abara from Zuri's Essentials at The Key in the Kryx system. She has a total of 12,500 credits at her disposal to buy any items you wish to sell to her. Do note: You need to be part of the Crimson Fleet Faction to access the Key in the Kryx system.

I normally am just spam selling frames but I will verify and get the entire total credits available next time I play. EDIT: It is a total of 33 hours you need to wait for resets there tho, not sure what it is on Kryx.

So for console players (like me) or those with slower pcs, just delete the case at the bottom (or middle if your system is REALLY slow) of the stack, and it will delete all the ones above it, as sort of a miniature base removal, doing it in large chunks, instead of all at once, and MUCH better than one at a time!

When I was building my main base, I also build these crates for display purposes but hadn't put anything in them yet. When I loaded in the next day the crates were suddenly full. I didn't think much of it, but apparently seeing this video its a thing lol

This is what i love about certain communities, its their dogged determination in finding faults in the game. I simply have NO IDEA how this stuff is discovered. I've been using this method for a little over a week now, and the large crates will be 80% auto-rivet or arc welder which gets very annoying, but it usually contains 2 weapons as opposed to 1. The medium size crate will contain a wide variety of guns, including anything you find in the large crates. The most common high tier guns you will acquire with this method include advanced versions of AA-99, Beowulf, Magpulse, Magsheer, Magstorm, microgun, Auto-rivet, arc welder. If it's not advanced don't bother keeping it, you can afford to be selective.

Higher level planets give higher level weapons. I traveled to Enlil II a lv 65 planet at lv 18. I maxed my grave drive energy so I could hit the tab key really fast and plot a course and then jump after about half a second avoiding combat to get to the planet. Light year jump distance was 15 for my ship.

What I've been doing to sell and get more titanium and polymer is waiting 24h on the bench just outside of Jemison Mercantile. Slow for sure but it's reliable, at least for me.

So fast tip once you’ve sold enough to feel comfortable moneywise and you don’t want to spend the next two hours of your life waiting for the vendor to get their credits back. Just dump all the weapons behind the counter of the trade authority at the key the weapons dropped will still persist after you leave and come back so if you ever need money, just visit behind the counter, grab a whole bunch of your guns that you dropped days ago and sell them to the trade authority. You can “store” a lot of money this way hell you could potentially have millions sitting behind the counter just waiting for you

I did this last night and was using medium chest and no love. I did 30 large chests and scored big time, got three really insane 6:39 , two good epics, and three nice rares. Aka advanced with good abilities. The rest was all modified calibrated, maybe a few refined. But i was so stoked to try the mag heavy and the mag rifle. i never looted the other boxes, so i ran out as a little lvl 29 character and fucked up packs of lvl 50-90 swarm roaches, which ONE SHOT ME btw and gain three levels in like 10 minutes. Anywas i walk back to my ship and all the unlooted weapons where now all advanced variants, still common but now the highest version with tons of high end mods pre installed. Like 300k worth. I have no idea what happened, perhaps it was fron running out of range or perhaps from leveling while out of range, no idea. But my top two legendary weapons only had like 1-2 mods installed (the kind you make not the abilities that are exclusive to legendary items) and where worth already 90k plus and fully modified i expect over 200k. The heavy has +30% damage to aliens, +15% damage while aiming, random elemental damage (acid fire etc) and one other ability with a fire rate over 400. This is so powerful that I don't think i can use it right now as it deletes elite level 90 mobs (the ones with 4 health bars) in under 2 seconds and im level 29 on the very hard setting without a single combat perk, ive been focusing on ship building, and weapon and armor crafting ,

I like using the small and medium chest for pistols and smalled rifles variants. Still get legendary stuff but if you spec into pistols like me the smallest box's are worth more.

Wow. The crate glitch and the ship duplication glitch are much better glitches than the ship vendor crate. Thanks for these!! Crates work on any level planet. I think. I used a level 60. I farmed for a while never getting anything valued more than 62k credits. But that was enough! Hundreds of thousands of value in weapons in seconds! Will take forever to sell, but I dont care, im gonna play this forever anyway. Before the ship vendor glitch went down I built a ship for 500k that had 25,000 cargo hold. Now when I glitch those, they each sell for 80K. Thats the way to go. Spend as much as you can on a ship and copy that one. Careful not to overwrite your favorite ships though. Even better than selling the duplicated ships outright you can also sell back every piece of the copied ship that isnt necessary to fly (for me it was all those expensive cargo holds) . Keep all the $ you made selling parts from the duplicated ship. THEN just overwrite that torn up ship with another fully copied one. And repeat stripping them. Its sooo much more than I ever made from the ship vendor crate glitch. And thats to say nothing of the super easy bonkers crate duplication glitch. We're ok. I thought i was broke, but these two are enough to keep us in Aroura for decades! Like others have said if you build the chests and beacon right next to your ship all the weapons go straight to your ship. Its so fast!

Stuff goes to ship inventory, not personal on my game. Also, gold and purple are NOT ALWAYS the best. Gold comes with certain perks that Grey does not, but damage is not always good. I got a Va'run weapon that is blue but has tons more damage than any gold I had. Modding the weapons after plus checking their damage means blue does at times beat gold for overall damage. Gold and purple are usually better, but not always. Coachman molded with hornets nest is very good. Get one of the Va'run weapons that has higher damage than other Va'run weapons and that can be modded to be very strong too.

The damage is dependent on quality, refined, advanced, ect. Legendary are less likely to be such as it is fairly random and level based.

no commands, just grind for it and wait for it. once you get enough you never have to farm for more as every time you delete the base you get it all back with the weapons. then you can recycle the method

The only downside is you either need to console your way to the materials, set up a polymer/titanium supply chain, or spam 48hr vendor resets; the upside is the payoff is easy and fast and ye gods so many legendary weapons, you're bound to find some to outfit you and and all your preferred companions

I don't know why, but I cannot get this to work reliably for me. I think my game is getting more and more bugged. I crash when saving sometime, I crash when loading a save game sometimes. I get spawned under the map. Or I get spawned 400+ meters away from where I saved at. And the chests are always empty. Doesn't matter if its a quicksave, a hard save, or an autosave. Nothing works.

Tried more than a few times. Best I can do is build all the cases, quick save and load, then I have to open all the cases manually. When I delete the beacon the resources go into the ships cargo, but not weapons.

The duplicating ship glitch still works.!!! So I'd make a ship put as much stuff on as possible to increase its sell rate. Then duplicate it over top of a crappy ship then sell it .

Also helps to be on a high level planet or moon so if you can go all the way to right of the universe and go to the Borh system which is lvl 75 and put game on very hard gives a better chance to find advanced class weapons which have the highest degree output

Didn't work for me, Just started playing this game and I don't have any skills equipped (Could be because of that I'm not so sure) but I managed to scrape up enough resources to create 5 crates (I'm level 8). Put up an outpost on the surface of Kurtz (The moon of Jemison) then proceeded to create 5 crates, quick saved it using the shortcut, loaded back into the quick save, removed the outpost and bam nothing on my ship, nothing on me, even checked both my crew mates and nothing on them either! loaded back into the save to check the crates and they are empty. I would greatly appreciate if someone could find what I'm doing wrong, maybe even recreate some of my scenario thanks in advance!

For some reason when I delete the outpost, it won't transfer the weapons in my inventory (I confirm there are weapons in the cases). Which I don't really mind because I'm on Xbox and I'm not building 300m towers of weapon cases.

An Update if you lie the chests flat on the ground and open them one at a time it works. I did 160 it took a bit of time but I finally got my Legendary Equinox.

The problem is you can't sell a bunch of this stuff in mass... you can only sell a few guns and then wait like 48 hours and do it again. Over and over. It's such a pain in the ass and soooooo time consuming.

May I suggest the military crate? Fun little fact for all those outpost enjoyers: these babies are half the size of a big storage crate and hold the same weight, making them perfect for stacking against a wall @@NERDPotion

It's cool but there are some downsides. One, you have to get a lot of polymer and tungsten. Resource hunting is a bitch. Second, you have to sell them all to get credits and that's also a pain. Vendors don't carry much, so you're waiting, selling, waiting selling and on and on. Wish it was a credit glitch.

yeah but with the other chests being patched its what we have. simple solution is throw all the bad weapons away and only sell the high dollar ones. also once you get the mats you never have to get them again

it does work go to a level 75 planet called masada land on it exit your ship create an out post first then create a normal save then go to your build mode go to weapon chests pick what one you want , small medium or large or mix it whatever you want place as many as you can then once you have finished placing your chests create a quick save then load that quick save once you do that then delete your outpost everything from those chests will now be in your ships inventory, that's how i do it,

Believe me. Whilst quicker to accumulate loot using this method, you're going to be waiting a long, long time to sell it all, because vendors have such a small amount of credits.

I tried it a few times with only a couple of crates as i didnt have much resources but it worked. I landed on the planet next to the den then after a few rounds of chests i sold the guns at the den. I has more luck getting rare and 1 legendary on very easy. Only got common on very hard. Not sure if that was due to my level or where i was or just the small number of chests i was doing. Anyhoo thank you for the tip. Game on.

Legendary or not, it does not really matter. You need advanced weapons, which are far superior to basic but legendary.

@NERDPotion This probably will work even better if you are on a high LVL moon. Your vid is only showing standard and Modified tier. You are on Antharum in the Cheyenne system, which is low level - early game. You could shoot for Advanced items, which is 2 tiers higher, much more expensive and much more powerful. I don't remember if the Schrodinger System is an attack-on-site location but it is VL65, so try it there.

@@NERDPotion wait your saying it goes straight into the ship cargo and not your actual inventory? On xbox console here. Your one gets it in your inventory, it didn't happen for me I still had 1 weapon in my inventory. Also deleting the beacon removes polymer and titanium from my inventory, but opening the boxes individually also works and deleting just the boxes gets my mats back polymer and titanium. Does becon need to be always planted new, or can you leave it on planet, warp around the universe, and come back to that planet with beacon on to continue with the glitch?

@@NERDPotion Lets say if it does go into ship cargo instead of my inventory you still lose polymer and Titanium materials right? When I tried building a new one the mats gone so it be better off unlimited mats to just make chests in a row 5 or so and as many chests next to it, then open them individually, then delete the bottom chest which wipes all chests on top of it, but you get your mats back to redo the glitch, this way I get to keep polymer and Titanium and no need to delete beacon. What do you think of this?

@@NERDPotion Ok I somehow got it to work, and I think its because I had to put down a fresh becon when outpost, can't just fly to an outpost already on planet, but I did change from Jemisson to the moon on Earths orbit, then I laid an outpost and glitch started to work and even got my mats back, I had to put mats in the cargo bay get everything back when its deleted thanks m8

This game is basically dead, it's 5 minutes travel time between each centralized node. The loading takes forever and it's essentially a menu simulator. I wanted space exploration not mircro-dick office, the experience.
