New INFINITE Scrap Glitch Discovered!

I personally discovered a new infinite scrap glitch using the new tapper added to Astroneer recently. This is crazy because Astroneer hasn't had an infinite scrap glitch for YEARS and has done everything they could to prevent but I guess they let this into the game which is a HUGE oversight.

You can use a proximity repeater and a storage sensor or count repeater to automatically unpack the horns and use multiple shedders to do the manual part faster.

You can also set up infinite early game power with the tapper. 3 tappers on Sylvia trees to 1 furnace to 8 medium generators produces 64 power. Use 3 large platforms b's, 1 for furnace, 2 for gens. Use 3 medium platform a for 3 auto arms. Make sure to filter the arms to the generators for carbon. Power: 8×9=72, 72-3-5=64.

yea but there is no arm that can grab the item and you cant put packeged items into the shredder

I spent like 2 days trying to figure out if there was a fully atomatic way of getting scrap with this new update. found this solution early on but that was all I could find.

Like I said. There are only a handful of 1x1 items that can be printed and none give infinite scrap. Props to you for trying to find one though!

definitely a massive oversight with the large horn farm.

I didn't think about that and after some research it costs 2.5 scrap to make an item that gives 3 scrap meaning infinite scrap. Even though it does give infinite scrap it is just so much more complicated that a medium buggy horn would work just fine. Both of them give a 0.5 scrap excess so it's definitely not worth making.

I'm pretty sure trains can't unload items into scrappers but I'll check it out. I'm 99% sure you can't do that though

Yeah you can't do it. You can only unload 1 x 1 items and you can't even put them into scrappers from trains.

You can't scrap fireworks but you can scrap dynamite! You should definitely do that 😁
