Damn.. it’s tough man.. There should be a guaranteed cell per route.. That add up 250 route and it’s not so easy

I’ve done this 3 times and it worked the first time but then hasn’t worked again. I’m afraid Niantic has nerfed this.

I got 3 cells using the pause/close on my first 3 routes. The next 5 routes I did...nothing

Anytime, I hope it helps. Cells can be a frustrating thing to look for and that's why I made the videos to cover how to get em!

They should have just given the cell or a chance of a cell after finishing a unique route. Having a tiny green speck appear on a mostly green background at the very end of a route you've been on for 20 minutes is such a brain-dead move. They could have at least made the thing easier to see and have it linger on the screen for longer. Players already have to walk something like 200 routes over 3 months to actually get enough cells, the biggest challenge of the whole endeavor shouldn't be the damn user interface. Anyway, thanks for the video, using the pause strategy will come in handy for my grinding.

Dude, right? I've lost a lot of cells at the end of route due to the route finishing. Pausing is the move.

I haven’t seen a single cell 😢 been doing routes daily and still nothing. I have a feeling the cell spawns aren’t even supposed to look like this as I assumed actual zygarde cells would emerge l which I assume could mean that the routes feature is simply not finished or working properly

What happens when you find a route but it doesn’t turn blue

The blue flag is the starting point. if you started the route but the lines doesn't turn blue, it might be because you are walking from the end. Just reverse the route.

Daily, so it is best to run multiple routes 1 time each per day.

Niantic has a huge fail with this stupidly complex method to get something they are encouraging us to try. Just make it a reward chance. Like rare xl candy.

I had mentioned in another video about cells how adding them to the rewards section didn’t sound like a bad idea, we’ll have to see what comes of routes.

8:45 well i can need luck ... never saw a route but got lvl 40 2 days ago and now waiting .... hopefully not forever .. but well with a 20% chance i can walk my route maybe 2 or 3 times per day i cant walk much .. yeah maybe next year im done with the 50 .. always a bless with any feature in the game living in a pretty small village you are just fucked .. :/

Routes are slowly being rolled out to trainers, last I heard it was down to level 42 and I'm hoping Niantic decides to make the creation feature available to trainers level 37 and higher one day just like submitting wayspots and reviewing them.

@@Allegingtuna its lvl 40 now since dont know but over 3 days for sure xD but yeah ... nice can i creat one ... just wait for it get proofed ... next year maybe .. ;D but yeah would make sense give it at 37 like creating pokestops ... if you can create your own stops you should be able to create a route ... maybe even earlier ... friend is waiting for routes for the research he dont have one and is lvl 34 .. not playing a lot its a long way from there to 40 ;D

I agree that they could have implemented cells a lot better, I have found the feature to be rather frustrating myself. That led me to make videos about them to show others. I hope the video helps you get more cells because I have lost a lot of them myself.
