One cautionary tale, when you port to a console, one SDK I won't say in particular, wants you to use the old input system or else it doesn't work. I tried everything, couldn't get the new input system to work on it. 😑

That is strange. Did you try with other workflows?

@astrahcat1212 Are you sure about that? I've ported games to all major consoles, and the new input system works fine. The only console I had some issues with are the VCS and Stadia. The usage method in this video may not work for some controllers, but the new input system as a whole works fine.

Hi, your question doesn’t have anything with this tutorial. You can check my tutorials about interfaces and events, maybe you will get an idea how to pick up weapons. If you can’t figure it out, I also do 1 on 1 coaching.
