GIRL, thank you for keeping it REAL!! You just saved me money for having to ship back, probably two tubes. I'll definitely go lighter than the Light Medium I was going to purchase. I rarely wear makeup, except for mascara and tinted lip balm. I'm turning 50, in July, so I feel makeup can make my skin look older, thus wanting something with a lighter texture/coverage. Thank you, for being so honest, without all the "production" effects, with filters, crazy lighting, etc. I will definitely be going to your channel for reviews. 😍

I agree that there’s something “charming” about having your skin shine through! I have acne prone skin that got worse in 2020/21. It’s improved but it’s a work in progress and I have PLENTY of scarring. I used to want to cover it all up (mostly because I felt that’s what I was “supposed” to do) but I quickly realized that I feel most beautiful when wearing light coverage, skin like foundations. Turns out all I really care for is evening out my skin tone / covering redness💁🏻‍♀️

I relate to this so so much omg. Like if the products could dial back my redness and let the skin shine through in a more flattering way, I think it's such a major win already. I'm a guy so I don't need to build up coverage, but some skin tone evening out goes such a long way!

Love that you use your fingers, I do too so seeing brushes and sponges really don't do it for me. This could be me talking, I used to love the original CC+ but it's just too heavy now. I will have to give this one a try. Looks great on you.

Woah, that oxidation! I love the "idea" of the IT CC creams but couldn't find the right kind of fair shade for my skintone.. was really hopeful about this when I heard about it but that is such a big difference once dried. Do you find that a lot of other foundations oxidize on you or does this one stand out? Thanks for sharing swatches Sally!

Agree with you! Their fair shades are a joke,it’s more like medium tones in other foundations! It cosmetics apparently doesn’t give a fly about fair skinned or deep skinned folks!

Yeah it is not great. I don't find my other foundations oxidize like this at all (Wet n Wild tinted hydrator, nyx bare with me tinted skin veil, bareminerals tinted moisturizer)

I love it cosmetics for the skincare but their foundationa never works for my skin. I get the lightest shade they have but every time its still too dark or yellow and it oxidizes 😢

I got this product and within a month it has totally oxidized!! It is now about 4-5 shades darker. I got Light and through the packaging as well as on the skin it is sooooo much darker 😢 sad because I liked it. I rarely return products but I think I might try with this one. Something is def off. Tinted sunscreens do that when they get old, so I guess the same thing happened with my tube of the CC cream

I can confirm that YOUR swatches are indeed, the accurate ones. :( And it's a crying shame because going by the swatches on IT's & Sephora's sites, these shades look COMPLETELY different... WAY lighter, WAY more yellow/normal... I don't even know how they do it! I ordered the light medium and it's too dark & funny colored even compared to OTHER IT foundations I have in the exact same shade! Not to mention there is basically NO coverage in this formula. It's not even medium, it's straight-up SHEER! I got a refund for mine.

I made it myself to make “jelly nails” by dropping a few drops of red nail polish into a mostly full bottle of clear top coat 😁 and mixing vigorously

It Cosmetics needs to fix their shades, especially given how many shades other brands carry these days. I can’t use their products because even fair is darker and oxidizes like crazy. Even their powder foundation turns very orange once it sits awhile. I predict that they will be a brand that foes under eventually due to them not getting with the times.

I'm light, even light-medium, with a cooler undertone. And with It Cosmetics foundations? NOTHING works for me. The light shade has a workable undertone for me - even thought it's described as golden? - but it's not anywhere near light in depth, especially with the oxidation. The fair-light is super peach, not at all rosy, which is how it's described. A lot of the fairer or lighter shades are decidedly yellow. I've given up, lol.
