This is a jail call between Chad Daybell and Lori Vallow where they discuss "blueprints," "plans" and text messages. This was made on June 8, 2020 - less than 12 hours before police showed up at Chad's home and discovered JJ and Tylee buried on his property.

Yes… Imma repeat it… 0:43 Lori references house renovations. She says that she has been watching “that extreme pools“, and talks about how people underestimate how long a renovation takes. This seems to be her expressing that their own project has hit a snag and is taking a long time to work through. Chad responds very literally to this and begins telling a story about one of Mark’s friends. Lori ignores this anecdote and persists in her euphemism, saying at 1:37 that there is “always something that comes up”. She then acts as though she is quoting the television show ( 1:42 ) from the host’s point of view and says “well we didn’t know when we dug in your backyard they were gonna find… whatever." The pronoun shift from "we" to "they", plus the rise on "know" and the barest emphasis on "whatever" is just the subtleist little clue that what she is actually saying is that we (Chad, Lori, and Alex) didn’t know when we dug in your backyard (Chad’s backyard, when they dug to bury the kids) that they (the police) were gonna find… whatever (bodies, ding ding ding ding!). In response, Chad laughs nervously and shuts up, probably hoping she doesn’t say too much. At this point, Lori tries to bury what she just said by strengthening her comparision to the pool-renovation show and over-talking, probably thinking she’s the smartest woman created (according to Chad) and that law enforcement (who she knows is listening) is too stupid to catch-on to the veiled references she is making and the "construction project" metaphor" she is about to launch. IMHO, of course
