I am so glad I decided to splurge and get the box subscription. Each month it gives me something to look forward to in this pandemic, and while it usually only takes me a day or two to finish the box, I still enjoy every last one of them.

Yay! A Bokksu unboxing.😄 I've loved everything I've gotten so far from them. And I'm always impressed how they package everything so nothing gets broken. Bokksu is amazing!!😊

I continue to be impressed just how well stuffed that box is every time. I definitely feel like I'm getting my money's worth even if some of the items aren't too much my liking (the funwari puffs are my nemesis).
@serenetiv3 жыл бұрын
heart shaped... in germany those would be called schweineohr, pig ear. they come in this size as sugar coated cookies sometimes in different flavours. but the original is way bigger and the upper part, the round plit one, is coated in (typically dark) chocolate. It's made out of puff pastry, so it's really easy to make at home if you use storebought puff pastry.

Gentlemen, thank you for another excellent BOKKSU review. We are excited to receive our October box and experience these snacks for ourselves. We are a couple of months into our year subscription that we ordered with your discount code. We are truly enjoying BOKKSU and you are most excellent ambassadors.

The okoshi is like a sweet snack from México that's called palanqueta (ぱらんけた) usually is made of peanuts, pistachos, sesame seeds or puffed amaranth adhered with caramel and flattened as the okoshi, somestimes big as the circumference of a ramen bowl hahah really tasty 😋😋😋
@AmuseableClementine3 жыл бұрын
It's funny you mention amaranth, I think in Japan millet is more common as a puffed grain!

Question, when you drink tea in Japan do you add a sweetener to it or just drink it as it is.
@mayumidaigo36133 жыл бұрын
Japanese usually don’t add sweetener. We enjoy the flavor of tea and just drink as it is.

I tried the okoshi already, I just couldn't put the flavour anywhere :D To me (besides the rice+sesame+syrup part), it felt like it had some anise-like notes. Would have been interesting to see an ingredients list. The bisuko was great though, probably my favourite kinako item so far.

Ok, I don’t know if anyone has mentioned this but today I noticed a big difference from when I first started watching you to today. The two main things are. You two interact so much smoother and you play off each other. The second thing is; you both look HOT. Not temperature wise but the way you look. What have you done, because I want to do it. I don’t tell many men this but I wanted you two to know. Keep up the great work.

Lol those "heart" shaped cookies are called pig ears in my country XD Not sure if we stole it from somewhere else but I am pretty sure Japan stole it from Europe

At least you're being honest and transparent that you're being sponsored by Bokksu. But the title of the video is a bit misleading, don't you agree? It says you're trying new snacks, but they're existing snacks. Surely, Bokksu didn't invent these.
@aznmochibunny3 жыл бұрын
I believe Bokksu does have exclusive flavors that aren't sold in stores which is why it's "new" but not so much in terms of new types of snacks or brands.
@thany33 жыл бұрын
@@aznmochibunny I dunno, Bokksu would then be a lot more expensive. Not that it's cheap, but exclusivity is very expensive, especially for "made in Japan" products.
