Almost every 35 measures up to about 34.5 or less, so the 315 is in the neighborhood for sure. When you rotate, (for me every other oil change with a filter) tuning them mud tires the opposite side and direction will keep noisy cupping to a minimum and facilitate longer wear.

Good luck with getting everything finished. Loving the videos from JP dirt and drive, watched this one out of order. It took me two months of planning gathering material and equipment (3 generations of my platform) and almost another month to get the drawers in the back of my JKU fully built. I love how the jeep continues to evolve, and I hope our silver Overland JKURs get to meet in person some day. I will be in the field for OE, and just got out of the field wit no time for EJS. Will be living vicariously through your future posts.

I can tell you what I ended up doing and it, in the long run, has saved me money. I run The Maxxis Razr MT in the 38X13.50R20 on Beadlock XD Series XD229 wheels and love the dig on the trails but sucked on the daily drive and was hard on steering and everything else So I ended up going with a second set of wheel and a tire I chose the Nitto Ridge grappler on a set of used Ion rims. it saves me the wear on my good mud tires and saves a lot of wear on my jeep and in all honesty here in Ohio the Nittos work well in the weather like snow and rain, And we have a group of local cops cracking down on Beadlocked wheels and handing tickets, Sometimes as much as it sucks spending a bit upfront saves you money in the long run

What is curb weight on your jeep? What is the current weight of your jeep? Just wondering how much all the after market parts weighed down your jeep. Nobody talks about this and it's rather important to the performance of your trail rig.

Can you expand on *why* you felt your old suspension was lacking? What were the symptoms? Do you have a ladder for the new tent? How stable will it be in a windstorm vs. a clam shell type design with a hinge?

Nice video Brother. Just got into Moab this morning. Stopped by Dixie Four Wheel Drive this afternoon to pick up some stock JK fender clips. Met a couple that are on the Dirt and Drive with you (Red Two Door Rubicon). They broken an axle in the last day or two on one of the trails. The axle was replaced on the trail but they needed Dixie to do some finishing touches. Safe travels and hope to see you Monday at your meet and greet.

A tire question - what number of miles have you gotten on various jeep tires, in terms of mileage wear? What is reasonable to expect? I have historically used GY Wrangler and now Duratrac, and have always gotten 50-60K miles. So maybe I am spoiled? Yes, my jeeps are my daily drivers and I don't live out west like you with all the fantastic rock climbing trails, etc. Only "easier" trails with mud, dirt and snow. Respect you and the great information you give, so your comments would be very useful.

Just got the pre-order e-mail from Dynatrac for the JK Pro Float. All the R&D sounds good but now that they've let the cat out the bad with pricing, that's a bit steep. I couldn't, with sound mind, pay that much for a glorified semi float. This might've been a viable option in 2010 where folks were dishing out over $20k for 1 tons being there was only 3 players in the aftermarket axle game but now that there's a plethora of options like Fusion, DStrac & ECGS just to name a few, $7000 for a semi float sounds crazy.

Unless your jeep is giving your problems, that is the best thing you can do. You can add modifications and make your 2012 your own. I keep my vehicles and try to drive them into the ground. I don't need a new vehicle every 5 years. I have a 2014 that I plan on keeping for a long time.
