During my vacation, I took a day and went down to New Jersey to do some photos. This is everything that I saw. A total of 6 hours, combined into one video. Enjoy.
First we start off on top of the parking garage in Elizabeth NJ that overlooks the tracks. One engineer from an acela was nice to give me some horn. (Thank you to that engineer) While the rest provided some excellent photo opportunities.
After a while it was time to go but before I headed all the way back into New York I made two more stops.
First I stopped at Newark Airport. The landing pattern had put several aircraft directly over the platform and in one lucky shot, I managed to snag a plane fliying directly over a silver service train.
Finally, to end the day, I stopped at Secaucus for about two hours until I snagged my ride back home from Penn Station.
I hope that if you do watch this video, you take the time to watch the entire thing instead of skip around. There are some pretty neat catches here. A more mechanical aspect to things rather than just hornshows. I apreciate your comments. Thanks!

Nice compilation! I like the variety of angles and equipment; usually not typical on an NEC video.

Nice work. I've got into railfan video a while ago and have a couple videos up here from Elizabeth. That perch on the parking deck gives some wonderful views! Down along the fence by the platform allows you to get trains blowing by very close when they pass through. Almost lost my hat a couple times from the breeze! Night is a good time since the cars tend to reflect the lights, especially on a wet night. I love the clatter of the catenaries too!

Not true always. But I wish AMERICA had better cities in the WORLD's landscape. Elizabeth around the station is a scummy place.
