I remember when my aunt and uncle used to live in the Pavilion by the Broad Street station and when I would leave their place, I would just take the NJT to Penn Station-New York to go back home. I could’ve just taken the light rail to Newark Penn Station, got the PATH and transfer to the MTA. It would’ve saved me so much time

how do you get to the light rail from the path train ?? I want to take the light rail from Newark to Atlantic city

You can't. Newark to Atlantic City is 200 miles from each other. There is only Light rail in Newark and in Jersey City there is Light Rail linking Bayonne on the south to and thru Jersey City to North Bergon with Bergenline Avenue in Union City being the most used due to Columbian and Cuban food restaurants.

You would have to go on NJT's Northeast Corridor Line, transfer to the River Line in Trenton which is another light rail system, then transfer to the Atlantic City Line in Pennsauken

Back when I used to work in Newark it was great for being able to travel from Newark Penn Station to the downtown. If you're on a tight schedule then taking the main light rail line to Military park and walking to downtown kills alot of time so this was a life-saver. It really is more for out of towners though that's true

Why is it pointless? I use it throughout the year to go to NJPAC. I take the train to Broad Street then the LR to NJPAC. Beats driving in and paying $30 to park.

It's also a useful shuttle if you need to transfer from Broad street station to penn station

Driving in Newark is pointless with the excellent transit systems that they have. It make us southern bumblef*ck New Jerseyians envious.

It connects 2 major train stations the hell are you on about?
