I listened. As someone coming back, it definitely hurt going through the History Mode and it essentially just being a slide show of the entire series of Naruto instead of a conglomeration of all the games that came before. Definitely having fun with it, but it's not what was being sold to us from their advertising.

Yep it isn't hard if you know how to play. I only use one support though... honestly Idk if "pushing buttons quick" is the best advice. They'll already be pushing the buttons as quick as they possibly can afterall.

Don’t fool people. The game gets crazy when someone knows how to cancel and keep you in a combo, make you use subs, push with certain supports, tilts. Everyone he played kept chakra dashing to continue a combo instead of swapping characters which was confusing me.

@@PainOnP5 You don't know what you're talking about. 1. they remove tilts and enabled easier combo cancels in this game. 2. chakra dashing or switching to continue combos are less effective as the damage scales down the longer the combo goes. By the 3rd combo, the attackers would only be doing 1/4th of it's original damage. It's a waste of chakra and time.

1) What most people don't realise is that cube can still hit your grounded opponent(e.g after a grab, if u don't follow up with a chakra dash or ninja dash, the opponent will be grounded and u can't do shit but if u throw this cube, it will still affect them). 2) it is the 4th highest priority jutsu in the game with the 1st being truth seeking scorch and baryon mode naruto tailed beast bomb, 2nd pain almighty push, 3rd any jutsu that has amaterasu on it. 3) on some rare occasions, if u set it up well, the cube can do a 180 degrees turn and still hit your opponent if it missed him😊😊

The fact that they sold this game for $60 and it doesn’t even have all the bosses and online isn’t great and there are no friend matches is crazy to me. Really disappointed this time. I think it’s because at the time, when storm had seemingly wrapped it was the best anime fighting game. Then DBFZ came out and people were like “oh you can have a *GOOD FIGHTING GAME* that happens to have an anime I.p.” The bar is higher and tbh, the 3d anime fighters are honestly just looked down on as a whole along with the fact it’s….the same game with a coat of paint from before. There’s not much depth in this game. Honestly the highlight of this game is watching you play it Afro.

I think those other content creators don’t like it because the game hasn’t really progressed > I originally thought storm was a Naruto fighting sim meant to accurately display ninja battles from the show Naruto > if you asked me what I thought storm would be like 12 years later I would have said I thought the game mechanics & core gameplay would be LEAGUES different and more in line with the shows lore, not just more characters added. Storm 1 was a true innovation & experience I wanted the storm series to be a battle sim for Naruto, so I thought the games would progress into the most accurate version of that. I think they should have strived for 1 for 1 lore accurate gameplay vs purely competitive scene and then ventured to make a more E sports competitive style game after. Storm would be in another realm if it kept that show accurate spin on the gameplay and progressed from there. I’d play head canon fights All DAY with CPU if the gameplay was accurate enough to really make you FEEL like a Shinobi in Naruto. (Not saying it shouldn’t have multiplayer just being e sports level competitive like SF would not be the goal for this game) in the end we got a mix that left everyone unsatisfied no esports level competitive no lore accurate gameplay just inflated roster

#ilistened Waiting 7 years for a game with this little changes is tough. Connections isn’t awful but for a series this old, anyone would expect a lot more. Not just changes but improvements. I still play when the netcode lets me and if I blue bar fights I actually have a blast. Yellow bar fights are so-so but after every red bar struggle I dip immediately. Nobody got time for that in 2023 🤣 Hopefully Curse Clash is good
