All the planets were in perfect alignment when this group was formed. But that was not enough. They have been supported and surrounded by world class talent as well. Everything .. the backup dancers, the choreography, the special effects, the camera work..... It is as close to artistic perfection as I have ever witnessed in my lifetime. I never even used to watch dance. Now watching these young men perform is magical. Great reaction. Take care....

They did SO many gorgeous, completely different performances during this period, all with different nuances: at one point Yoongi commented something like, "I can't believe I'm a snowman on TV" watching a beautiful "Winter Wonderland" type staging of Dynamite. This version of Black Swan is one of my favourites, but all the looks and the MJ dance break are special. The first time I watched it I cried at the "map" emerging whilst they sang "Eternal" and the Army footage/montage; they worked extremely hard to engage with Army throughout the pandemic when they could have just taken the (enforced) time off. "Stan a group that stans you back", etc. I loved your excitement at seeing new live performances and you're right, there's so much to discover. Borahae from Manchester 💜

2019 is by far my favourite MMA performance from them but don't sleep on their MAMA performances either - all are amazing but 2020 absolutely blew my freakin mind with them renting an entire stadium for ON and then thee best LGO performance ever with the Suga surprise on top. 🤯👍 💜

Ahhh the pas de deux in Black Swan will forever be iconic!! I remember having to pick my jaw up off the floor after that entire performance. It’s stunning choreography. “They are, pure and simple, art.” - perfectly stated, thank you 💜

The white staircase scene (3:38) refers to the one in the MV for N.O, and the same music is playing. In that song, the struggle was to reject something forced on them, society's harsh expectations of young people. With the new song, it is now time for young people to go ON, to struggle in pursuit of their own dreams and goals. Also from the N.O video: the set with all the white drapes radiating from the center at the back of the stage (4:32). In N.O, the color palette was white and black, then drenched in red light, but now the lights add orange, hot pink, purple, and aqua blue. And then after all that energy, we get a song acknowledging the pandemic that stopped us all in our tracks: Life Goes On. 💜

When this first hit the Internet in 2020 my husband and I watched it and literally screamed like 10 times during the performances at how graceful and impressive they were. Your reactions were not far off from ours. LOL

I would now recommend you start watching the MAMA award performances; Specifically 2014 (they do a battle of the bands type performance with Block B. Fun fact Zico, a good friend of RM and the leader of Block B, set up his own label - KOZ - which is now part of HYBE); 2016 (amazing, watch out for Jimin and J-Hopes side by side); 2018; and 2020 (and be ready for a surprise). Something you may also want to check out soon are their various Christmas performances, which are so sweet and amazing.

For me, the Black Swan opening and Dynamite to close were such a surprise and best performance from the group. They never fail to amaze, entertain and go above and beyond for the audiences and fans!

Several years ago Bang Shi Hyuk invested in a company that was developing hologram technology, and you get to see some of it in both the 2020 MMAs and the 2020 MAMA awards ceremonies (but especially the MAMAs where a hologram of Suga performed Life goes on with the group). They also used the holograms during their Yet to Come concert in Busan where, for example, holographic butterflies flew over the crowd during the song Butterfly.

Oh, I had forgotten this tiny detail, lol. (17:52-18:00) V stopped to stare into the camera and time stood still for us, and also for him! He lost track of where he was and where he was supposed to go next! 😅🤣 The camera zoomed in on Jin singing, V quickly found his spot, and he beamed at the camera some more while Jimin sang. Then V finished up the song "cooly", as they say. 😎 I love V. 💜

There are documentaries already out for all but Jin and RM. But RM's documentary comes out Dec. 5th. Also if you look on KZbin there are several documentaries about the group. Also XCelest has some good mini documentaries especially avoiding the BTS Hardships. And their names are Namjoon, Jin, Yoongi, JHope, Tae, and Jimin. Namjoon no longer goes by Rap Monster. It's just RM or Namjoon. Have fun on your BTS journey. It's well worth it.
