When KUSA first hit the market, I was super skeptical of them and assumed they'd make sub-quality guns. After several years and with them getting the ball going with the K-103 series of rifles and KP9s everything about them has far exceeded my expectations to the point that I'd consider them in the top 5 of AK producers alongside Molot, Arsenal, WBP Fox, and Zastava. Thank God I work for a gun store because I'm getting my hand on this 5.56 variant ASAP

Your experience is pretty much the same as mine. I love their dedication and almost obsessive R&D to put out a perfect product. I’ve shot almost every AK except an Arsenal and my 103 is just smooth as butter.

I had the same exact viewpoint on KUSA when they first announced their company. I thought "just another shitty American manufacturer LARPing under the Kalashnikov name." Though I don't own a KUSA rifle, or have even fired one, from all the reviews I have seen, and comments like yours, they appear to be a high quality product. I look forward to their 74s, as I deeply regret not being able to afford an SGL 31 or SLR 104 when they were being imported.

Hopefully they upgraded the feedlips on the magazines for the kalshnikov 12g magazines because they had alot of issued with the feedlips breaking offf during shooting because it was just polymer

Those are all stamped. Milled receivers are notoriously different.

Stamped, none of the 100 series are milled (I’m guessing that’s what you meant by forged). The trunnions and bolt carrier are forged however

@@Edmondson_Avenue Well, that's not quite a 104. Not only because of the milled receiver, but the barrel is too short; the 104 has a 12.4 inches barrel, that C39 SBR has a 10.6 inches barrel.

Eh, PSA is tooling up to produce 545 and I'm sure other companies will as well. 74s are becoming more common with more and more companies producing them, I'm sure ammo will become more common the more these are made.

Why is having a billet bolt a bad thing? Billet manufacturing allows for very tight tolerances and quality of parts.
