Any thoughts on 1080p UI on Strato V ? Looks not very crispy on big screens.

There a way much better 4K/8K mediaplayers out there for under $500 with even a nicer home cinema interface that let's you customize it to have a NF or Prime look and feel to it.

I get this is a premium product doing things no one else can. And perfect bit quality and quick from cinema releases are very appealing. I also appreciate they're probably paying a lot for licensing and hosting to provide this service and keep the movie studies happy. But it's still too expensive which also causes an affordability barrier to entry for people that would like one but can't justify the cost. I fail to see why they can't sell it cheaper instead of at a high markup and sell more of them instead. The price is also extremely off-putting to use it as a solution if you want a solution that can serve multiple rooms independently. If you want a solution in 4 rooms all with independent access that's almost $16000. The UI is also horrible. Even a Zidoo presents your library far far better. It's a fantastic product I'll just never understand why they choose to price themselves out of having more customers even at this lower price point. If/when Amazon or Apple start offering uncompressed streaming I fail to see how this company doesn't go bankrupt too.

"I fail to see why they can't sell it cheaper instead of at a high markup and sell more of them instead." Because they wouldn't sell enough units to make up for the loss of high margins no matter how low they price it. They simply cannot compete with discs for price so if they lowered it another $2000 doesn't magically bring enough customers to make up for all of the lost money. They do not make money on movies, its on the hardware and they need to recoup money on the outrageous prices for storage people pay in order to sustain the company. They are in business for 20 years and know the data behind their sales. At the end of the day it's a niche product in a world of streaming and discs.
