“You know if you’re like me, I like to fish all the time, but sometimes you know I can’t always carry multiple rods, multiple reels. so like in the back of my SUV. I have a Nissan Xterra. If I don’t want to have my rods coming up top like I normally do, and I just keep this.
I keep something like this in the back ready at all times. Out here where I live in Oklahoma, there’s always a body of water somewhere that you can try to fish on. You know whether I’m at one of my kids practices or going to meet someone, or even I’m waiting on something there, more than likely is a body of water close that I can jump in and when I jump in, I jump in heads first with something like this so number three on my list of why I love this is how compact it is.”

“There is not a bunch of parts. I have the Blackhawk too, and it’s got a lot more guides. It’s got those floating guides, but it’s this case right here, this little protector works great. The compass is an outstanding travel rod, it’s and it’s relatively easy to get and that’s number two: it’s easy.
“So, as you can see right here, it’s already hooked up, I have it hooked up, because I was doing a lot of drop shot on it and that’s normally my go-to with a spinning setup, but look you can keep it hooked up.

“All you got to do is open the bail and you can start to extend it out. Everything’s set up super easy and just like that, you’re ready to go fishing. It feels like a legit KastKing rod as it should be. It’s got great build features, but it does not feel like a travel rod. Only flaw is their resistance. Mine didn't last long than a year with intensive use. While my other rods, well I never broke one. Don't know about these rods though

REason down below as a DAV like 2 make one trip to end of pier & not need 2 quit early due to rod or reel problems! been spooled often by big stingrays b4 I can cut them off! LiL Secret 4 reasons 2 git one or 2 ! NC Piers often limit U to one rod & reel. AS a DAV Hard 4me 2 git out on pier. So if my one Carry-rod messes up reach in back pak & viola nother R&R 2 Fish with. W/O long trip off pier 2 car 4 nother one. Glad 2 Field test some 4 U also. TY lots
