This is the first time when I can see the European influence on Japanese motorcycle very clearly. Great details and colors. In my opinion, new Z900 does look awesome, I like it better than MV Augusta Dragster. I was thinking it will be a disappointment to see updated Z900, because I was waiting for Z1000 or Z1100. But I must admit, that I enjoy the look of Z900 a lot. Great job Kawasaki.

this new z 900, like the mt 09, these naked ones have improved a lot and are much more efficient, more refined,.. and for those who like pure speed,.. on the road,.. the z900 fits perfectly,.. a naked Very powerful and aggressive, I'm sure it will continue to sell well, I have the new MT 09 and it's been a good surprise, but this Z 900 is in no way behind!!! excellent bikes that the Japanese still make,.. contrary to what many say,.. sometimes without knowing anything about anything,..

Now if they'd given a Z9 to Chris to crash, that'd really prove this new bike. Anyway, I won't be at EICMA, but MC live at the NEC looks like it'll be a very good one this year. This Z and quite a few other nicely updated bikes.

This one is more of a decepticon than the Yamaha offers... Im eager to see what news they bring from this to z900RS...albeit most news are electronic...

I have a feeling you're correct. In the past those 2 bikes had differently tuned engines. Now they share the same spec engines. Financially it would make perfect sense to add a 3rd bike with the same platform.
