New Kid on the Block: Passage to Pretoria - a Diamond Aircraft DA62 Ferry to South Africa / Ep. 1

Episode 1 takes us from Wiener Neustadt, Austria, to Paphos, Cyprus. Micke shows Luis the ferry-flight ropes and advises us what to pack, snack, and what not to open in a DA62 cabin at 11,000 feet. We see the features of OE-FGZ’s iridium antenna in action, and Luis hand flies into LCPH.

Would love to own this aircraft one day! Literally on my bucket list to fly one of these. Trained on the DV20 out of CTFTC in Cape Town, and just got my CPL/IR/ME on a Seneca II . Doing my FI stuff now. Hopefully see this baby one day in the future :)

To keep things short, all permissions were done by “GASE” “General Aviation Support Egypt” . Basically we sent them the routing and then they did their magic😊
