We tried this strat and were losing people to 1 tick of firebloom which is inevitable + lightning. One shots people without the health to survive. Ended up spreading out asap after first breath and coming back in to rebuff before darkness

We did this strat in GDKP got it under an hour. Hero on pull, do not stack till after shadow spike. Around 85 percent stack for dragon buff and stay stacked. Fireblooms must instantly go out. (keep killing orbs obviously). Once boss hits 55 percent spread out again and do fight normally.

if you watch the video, the raid doesn't stack until after KJ stops channeling shadow spikes. obviously you can't stack in melee range and have the entire raid soak spikes.

@@Evan-gi1hs ye spotted that after a few re-watches and seeing another VoD of the strat It's like more of a 'lose stack' during spikes, still much less spread than normal Then another close variation of the strat has the same 'lose stack' for right when blooms are going out just as a bit more protection against someone beign slow and then non blooms tight stack straight after Still looks a lot more favourable than having people spread out in africa and not making it in for shields and having very limited haste buffs

This relies on people reacting faster to move out with the flame. The guilds struggling with this are likely to have people with slow reactions.. so it may not actually be the better strat. Just fyi

Everyone needs to start moving out as the fire bloom is casting (1 second cast time). Then everyone who isn't debuffed goes back to the stack spot while the fire bloom targets keep running away.

Want even more DPS? The ferals full cat mode, the ret tanks KJ, just take off salve and DPS with RF. Prot pally does all dragons. Instantly adds another 1.5-2k raid DPS, can add even more as healing gets more comfy and drop a healer.

Yes he has. You stack after the first shadowspikes and spread before the second ones. You only play this tactic form 85% to 55%.

This is bad logic. At 55% there is 48sec before you can get Breath Haste from the 2nd set of dragons so you can fit a full 45sec bloodlust in that window and push the more difficult phase more quickly.

ur not wrong but currently shaman cant chain heal cause of 10 yds but with dragon buff+everyone stacked you’ll have shaman basically max mana and able to chain heal so no reason raid shouldnt be topped
