You can just add half the flavour pack on the spicy noodle and it works a treat !

Ive just bought the kimchi one! I love the normal kimchi ramen from nongshim but my local store was out of that one but they just got in the shin kimchi ramen. Ive never tried it and havent seen anyone eating it on KZbin either. Excited to try it!

I absolutely love this noodle! We add a slice of cheddar cheese right before the soup is done, sounds weird maybe but it tastes soooo good worth the try!

i only discovered nongshim noodles recently & am honestly surprised how much better than other packet noodles they are. i'm surprised you don't find the mushroom shin that spicy tho, they seem pretty hot to me!

The Kimchi one is sensational, especially with an egg dropped in near the end of cooking. The noodles are very high quality, the soup sensationally mild. I highly recommend it to Westerners who cant take hot chilli (like me).

i found this video after seeing the kim chi flavour in the shops, i haven't tried any shin ramyun so i wanted to see what one i should get next time i went to the shops, and after seeing this i picked up the kim chi flavour 🤞 I'm not very good with spice so hearing it was more mild was good

I normally add black vinegar to Shin to make it hot and sour as I find the spice so numbing I can’t enjoy the actual taste, balsamic works too if you’re out of Chinkiang vinegar. I reckon this will be right up my street as the Nongshim Kimchi ramyeon is my ultimate fav instant noodle.

Just had the kimchi ramen version today, I wanted to see others thoughts on it because I did not enjoy it. Having tried many varieties of Shin and Samyang, I must say I found this Kimchi version a tad bit too sweet... the original Shin is the non-spicy, and the 3x Super Spicy Shin (black package) is the spicy version... as per my taste! Although, all of them are good treats, I'd say my favourite is the 3x Super Spicy one.

I love the Nongshim Kimchi Shin Ramyun. I had no idea there was another, new one. :O I live in the UK, so I get them shipped here from Amazon. lol I buy the 5 pack ones, because I eat them so quickly in a few weeks. Lmao! Bigger supermarkets have them, my local Asian/Indian shops do too quality foods ect. They have been around for years but because of everyone buying and it getting popular it’s getting more expensive. But try bigger supermarkets :) good luck

Original Shin Ramen nope... I ordered 20 and I still have 17 left, they're nice but the heat!, I tried adding egg/milk/cheese then the flavour was gone sadly. Not tried the kimchi yet but I ordered some.

Shin ramen has a moderate spice level but its very tasty 😆 the pink packet might be buldak carbonara which is spicier!

I tried the kimchi ones they was okey but i like the fact it wasent hot .but the originl one is just so nice the flavor in it is so nice me and my husband share a package coz i cant finish mine because of the spicynes and he complains why u buy these , these are too hot our nose is watering and everything i wish they wouldent be so spicy but flavor is soo good and u guys eat them like oh its nothing 🤣

@@annaandhong yes, thankfully they didn't affect me but I have commented in a few replies to people to let them know the noodles have been recalled and not to eat them until they send out a new batch. Because they will still be selling the last batch in stores

Most probably the new nongshim shin kimchi is just a repackaged version of the original nongshim kimchi ramen. Literally tastes the same. Its hard to find the original kimchi ramen and the shin kimchi is more common now, so i think they really just repackaged and renamed it.
