[Edit 2: first sub 22 WR set with new method: kzbin.info/www/bejne/r36cn2SCqbpmask. The suncharge to elevator has been updated by tako with a fall and switching to felwinter mid fall to just power slide under the ceiling push barrier (ayriest did suggest it first initially but I thought the timing was to difficult since it only saves a second or 2, sowwy.) We also did further testing for a closer IRB spot but there was only one really precise spot, mid-air death spot which you could die on to cut out the fall after the auto res but really not worth it since you only cut out a 2 second fall and won’t be worth the risk for now. In other places in kf, there’s a new quicker shade kill combo that I still definitely can be further improved upon but would only shave off the teleport animation for each kill, totems would be cool if we could get some sort of aura/deathsinger 10x dup to work but it’s boring af to test and it’s a nice break in the run anyway.] [Edit: much faster route now: Skating to the first death with touch of malice and injuring yourself on the way, killing yourself instantly. We have successfully partglitched 6 relics by having enough orbs for 4th on right to get his super back for 6th, and having 4th on left switch to slam for the portal orbs. You don’t need razelighter or any sword ammo for the death-load. After auto res we no longer power sliding, instead we drop to the right with sunbreaker and suncharge to the elevator. There might be a different place to set the IRB which is lower and closer with a more precise, mid-air death, but still more testing until we find something worth the effort.] *Addressing the doubters:* Current record: (22:42) Thru portal: 2:10 (Portal to totems is 2:11) Hit Totems warp: 4:21 4man kf record: (25:42) Thru portal is 2:52 (My best portal to death warp after 3 runs: 1:34) (In theory) Hit totems warp: 4:26 So the 5.5man relics would definitely be faster than the 4man so let’s say a good relics would be in the middle (2:11 thru portal on 6man, 2:51 on 4man, so the 5.5man should be at least 2:31) And let’s say a good runner would beat my skates so my best run of 1:34 could easily be brung down to a 1:20 from a runner who practices it So 5.5man time going thru the portal at 2:31 + a good runner getting a 1:20 on portal to warp would be a total time of 3:51 I was being very generous in terms of my hypothetical times so I could of definitely gone lower. Also the reason why I called it ‘5.5man relics’ is because the IRB person is only gone for less than a minute setting up my res and if even I can do that consistently then someone could probs do it even quicker. Meaning you could stay back a bit and gen the super for the orb gen guy so he can hit 4th part glitch potentially. Even if it is too tight to be able to fit 6 part glitches you can definitely do 5 part glitches (4th+5th on left +6th from the guy coming back from the IRB and 5th+6th on right and aslong as you get an outside spawn on right 4th relic then you won’t even lose that much time. If the runners don’t want to put the time in, I guess that’s just a shame :l But when a team wants to start trying to implement the IRB into the run, my DMs are open ;)

When the strat we were trying to create was 5-1 kings falls, Kale was actually stood in trenchway, when I looked up from portico. Then the idea for this strat clicked in my head.

The original plan was to get a full team and run it like an actual speedrun, but we couldn’t find anymore willing people (hopefully I’ll be able to show an in-run example soon) Also some info for the death load setup: the Raze Lighter method works like 70% of the time but I think I found a new and bit more consistent way an hour ago... Exact same set up as before in terms of what to look at and what to stand on. You will want 0 sword ammo and do a RB, also you need to approach the rock from a hard left, so run along the right side of the wall and then turn towards the rock and step on it and one last tip is you want to have ur crosshairs on that *‘bit where the rocks start again’* but sprint into the the middle of *‘the area where the rocks stop on the seem’* this method seems to work 99% of the time for me. And even if you mess it up, you can quickly go back to pendulums(crux) and try hit the portico death-load again. And one more thing: There might be a faster way to power slide, if you drop and then hit the slide to go straight through the green door and to the elevator but it’s finicky due to the pull barrier and death barriers below you that you can go through as long as you have enough speed. I think the way I showed is faster due but idk it would be only saving seconds and I only save minutes 🤷‍♀️.

Not that it makes a difference (not that i efficiently and consistently make use of it) but have you ever gone for Tier 12? Not in general, u need the style, but have u ever thought about grinding for Tier 12 Armor on those Armor pieces you currently wear with the perks and everyrhing? Just Curious.

I have a few tier 12 sets, was just wearing the helmet for the res super energy and I could’ve probs made it into a tier 12 if I wanted too. It doesn’t really do anything tho so wasn’t too bothered about, just wanted max intellect for glitching.

you almost can do it, Insane potentially found a way to do the sword fly down to the crux from a different hall of souls IRB on warlock. So with that you could jump and die mid air to set ur spawn point and then fly down, hit the portico death load and self res.

Yep, by having one person not go thru the portal at relics, he can start an auto res by either dying or going thru the portal.

Yea I tell him to die about 10 seconds before I do the second part and I’ll spawn up there and when I respawn I get sent back to the original spot for the second part

I don't think this is worth doing unfortunately. You lose way too much time and consistency with 5 man relics and a double bellicose gerwin/perfect gerwin is really fast

You can get use to 5man relics, plus ur not losing a part glitch so it should be fine, gerwin maybe be fast but it doesn’t beat just instantly teleporting 2/3rds of the way, the res can be optimised so it will res you instantly too and then u slide the rest of the way and drop to the lift... you cannot say that losing like 15 seconds on relics is not worth the atleast 40 second time save
