The chairs won’t get more comfortable with age. Just think of them like a pair of shoes that that rub. I did the bin on the right of the sink and the dishwasher on the left and it worked perfectly! I did long handles too and they are so convenient to use. Love what you’re doing with the kitchen. ❤

As always, well thought-out and practical options. Totally agree that comfort should be as important as design, and that taking time to decide, especially on more permanent and expensive items (tile, cabinetry, flooring, countertops) actually saves money in the long run. You won't need much art work with the outdoor scenery. Great place- Merry Christmas!

I love the kitchen cupboards colour and I hope you choose the creamy colour for the backsplash instead of the grey tone, it would warm up the look a lot and looks great against the cupboards. For the stools, I love the option of mixed cream and wood, like in the photos you showed. It will be fantastic, great job.

Stunning kitchen! I love the flat fluted tile for the backsplash. The round raised sample looked a bit lit bamboo to me😂. The wood cabs with black accents are such a beautiful contrast to all the white.

Think of cleaning the fluted backsplash if the ridges are very deep. The busy design may detract a lot from your beautiful counter tops. A single glass and black metal shelf would look beautiful below your black sconces.

It's like looking at winter wonderland. Once your cabinets and shelves go in things will fall into place. Take your time with it and be picky. I can't say as though I'd want that ribbed tile it may be very hard to keep clean much less grout. I prefer the one on the board rather than the one you showed that was leaning up against the wall. Can't wait for the whole house tour. I sure wouldn't want to be resettling into another home. I give you credit though. One thing I'd suggest is putting some felt pads on your pots you've got your greenery in so it doesn't scratch your counter. While your stools are nice, I'd want something more comfortable. May be a slight upholstered (padded) back

Does your kitchen have another refrigerator beside the one you showed? I’ve never seen a layout where the refrigerator isn’t “in” the kitchen. Maybe it’s a new thing or in high end homes. Just seems odd to me

No that’s the only one. I’ve seen it on builders pages and liked how it was still in the triangle but off to the side. It flows good. I thought maybe bidding it completely but it added another step which sounds funny but it might of been better that way to so I’d have more counter in the pantry.
