And I just want to say mike, I love your videos. I have the hybrid Klein’s and I use them everyday. I’m a residential electrician and they save a lot of fumbling in the tool pouch. Making up joints is so much easier, the only other thing that you need is a 3/16 flat tip. Klein really hit a home run with these IMHO.

I keep saying, german manufacturers have a eye on the product, then the price point, where UK, USA, has a profit point and then the product, basically the price point then the product, USA needs to up its game, the germans are relentless in their pursuit of a continually better product, the companies in some countries are directed by accountants, in others engineers, which one do you think has the best tools?

I got sold on Klein when I started glazing after highschool. I got the job through a friend and bought a basic set of tools to get started. I had a Craftsman set of standard pliers. Slip joint, side cutters and needle nose. When I went to jobs we found we had to shorten screws and nails quite often so they did not hit the glass. My pliers could not cut anything bigger than a finishing nail. The journeyman I worked had all Klein pliers. Probably to the tune of $1000. He let me use his side cutters for a day. Instantly convinced they were worth the $50 to $60 a pair. He had been cutting down nails and screws for decades plus any other abuse they were subjected to and they are mint. Now I am a journeyman welder and I have a full set of Klein pliers. Full disclosure if you short them out with welding current you will ruin them lol.
