New Škoda 32Tr SOR trolleybuses in Vilnius, Lithuania 🇱🇹 | 2024

Vilnius has finally launched first of its new Škoda 32Tr SOR trolleybuses, which are already transporting passengers around the city. Škoda32Tr SOR trolleybuses will replace many of the old Škoda 14Tr, which have been in service for more than 30 years.

I’m glad the new Škodas have entered service. I was on an overcrowded one today on Route 2, and it wasn’t overly hot inside. 73 new articulated trolleybuses, possibly the Skoda 33Tr SOR or Solaris Trollino 18 IV for certain will be replacing the last of the 14Trs, but possibly also the Solaris Trollino II 15ACs and MAZ 203Ts (the condition of these trolleybuses is only getting worse by the day).

True. With all of my warm feelings to 14Trs, they are old and need to be replaced. Some of Solaris Trollino 15 ACs are also not in the best shape. Waiting for the new articulated trolleybuses! Would love to see them on lines, especially on weekends :D

Спасибо за интересное видео! :) Вам очень повезло заснять новые Шкоды на 9 и 16 маршрутах. Хоть я и живу в Вильнюсе, но пока что на этих двух маршрутах их не видел :) По моим наблюдениям, проще всего их поймать на 2, 7 и 19 маршрутах. Но также нередко появляются на 3, 6, 10 и 17 UPD: сейчас проверил трекер и увидел, что новые Шкоды уже появились на 1, 4 и 18 маршрутах. В общем, будем надеяться, что скоро новые троллейбусы распространятся на все или почти все маршруты :) Кстати, ещё интересный момент: из-за того, что большая часть 32Тр на данный момент работает на 2 и 7 маршрутах, освободились 12-метровые Солярисы с этих маршрутов. И их, по моим наблюдениям, стало больше на 10, 18 и 20, где они заменяют собой старые Шкоды :)

Вот, кстати, тоже интересует, каким трекером пользуетесь? :) ОЧень бы пригодился, особенно если можно смотреть с мобильного телефона (у меня iPhone). Я снимал в прошлую субботу, их было довольно много, на 9 маршруте было сразу несколько (3 вроде), на многих других по одному-два. Надо ловить момент пока старые Шкоды не списали :)

Маска у них такая интересная, необычно смотрится, будто прищуренная. Похоже, что этот и следующий год станут последними для старых шкод. Планируется оставить пару машин для ретропокатушек?

Хороший вопрос. Учитывая, что Вильнюс сохранил 9Тр, очень надеюсь, что не составит проблемы сохранить хотя бы одну 14Тр. Пока не слашно, ведь полностью заменить старые Шкоды не удастся с запланированными 91 "СОРками".
