Thank you so much for this! Most of the reviews of this makeup are done by people who are under 40, or even under 30! My only suggestion would be to hold all your hair back with a band to eliminate shadows on your face while you apply the makeup.

I know this isn't about the line, but the Dr. Jart Beuaty Balm (the gold and black packaging) light shade has a heavy gray undertone.

If you want pink go with mauve. The rosewood is still more earthy ,I guess I would say. The concealer is more of an illuminating concealer, for me. I think people , like my mom (74) , who only where a little pot concealer ( on dark spot and such) and then want something to illuminate under the eye this might be nice. I heard you say your brushes are still not dry and you washed them last night. Little tip: gently squeeze the water out after running the bristles in water, rub the brush dry on a towel voila dry brush

Thank you SO much! I think I'm going to be a mix of the two foundation shades you have. I keep trying to get back into wearing make-up and pick stuff up and then realize that I probably bought it with my 20-something self in mind. Plus, I do love LOreal, not the lipstick fragrance though. I picked up the Mauve blush, the Orchid lip liner, Soft Mauve (solid bullet) & Splendid Plum (white core) lip colors. I also picked up the Black Mascara. Skipped the eye pencils (both brow and eye liner and the powder (I have Make-Up Forever powder foundation to set). Love that it has the 50 spf sunscreen. I'm thinking they're both going to be OK because I intend to use the liner as a liner and a base. Although I don't smoke - I do tend to have feathering so I really do enjoy (most) "mature" formulated lip products.

I just saw this line the other day and so happy you have a review of it! I am a lipstick lover - I have more than any 1 person should but when I see lipsticks this is me 👀 and I always have to get them..lol. I have drug store to high end and everything in between so I REALLY appreciated your lipstick review as I am not a fan of the oily type either so I now know to avoid those. I have also been in a blush phase lately & was looking at those as well. I know $11.99 may not seem like a lot for a blush but when I think of all the sales that have been happening lately it is kinda tough to pull the trigger. Yesterday, I ordered some Too Faced Tutti Frutti ones for $7.50 so I am kinda spoiled. These sales are really one of the major benefits of Covid-19! The eyeliner looks great on you! I gave up on eyeliners because I have hooded eyes and when my eyes are open you basically just see eyeliner...lol Plus for some reason I never could get a perfectly straight line. I agree 100% with not being able to sharpen automatic pencils - both eyes & lips! I would be pulling the backend off as well - like I know you need to be here where are you sharpener! I understand the part about the mascara wand! I LOVE my Avon "LOVE at 1st Lash" mascara and it has a wand that is best described as a "plastic bristle" wand that works great for me but it bothers my sister at her lash line so that maybe what they mean about "gentle". What color did you get in the cream powder foundation? I was hoping the items and colors reviewed would be in the description box but they weren't 😢

This peaked my interest to... but felt the color tones would be off for myself. DrJart BB Disapore has a very gray undertone. Just Fyi :) I passed and glad I did..Iliia Skin Serum and The New Ultra Hydrating Foundation from Lancome have worked Great !! xoxo
