The entire makeup line looks so pretty & natural on you. I found the foundation today at Shoppers and have been very impressed with it. It is so nice to see a fellow Canadian doing reviews targeting mature ladies. Our products are often different than the US so it’s disappointing when their products cannot be found in our drugstores. Hi Mel, this is the first review of these products I have seen so I am excited to see how they work. The concealer did remind me of the Maybelline Fit Me as well. I like to pat my concealer in with my finger too and I like that it's hydrating but I need fuller coverage concealers for my dark circles too. I love the Maybelline Agre Rewind concealer too. I like the color of the brow pencil on you too. Too bad they don't have a bronzer. I'm a mascara junkie too. LOL. I like peach toned blushes too. I want to try the liner for sure. I like the packaging of the lipstick and it does look coral to me too and $13.99 is on the higher side but it is very nice. It looks really great after 12.5 hours. FW and that is great the mascara didn't flake.

Oohhhhhh I wanted to get this whole line too but bits and pieces were always sold out! I wanted the foundation that was swirled with pigment and cream and was in a tub? That one was hard to find! Age rewind is very drying. Talking about the L’Oréal line.....The powder foundation is worth the purchase. It is very creamy. Much more than any other powder foundation I have ever used. Great alone on oily skin or areas. Also foundation much better when applied with hands.

Wow to have Jane Fonda use it for the oscars that’s amazing. I’m curious about this line. I need to start spending the money and try a few foundations or bb cream/skin tint types from the drugstore. I totally forget what you suggested before? I can’t handle anything thick or that looks dry and sits in the wrinkles really bad. Has to be hydrating. I didn’t most foundations look good at first but a couple hours later it’s like my face has no moisture. It looks dry Cakey and cracked. I use good skin care and don’t have that issue with the illusion skin tint by hourglass but I really can’t afford that one. Do you have dry skin as well?

I do have dry skin. This foundation was really nice and hydrating if you like a lighter coverage and I also love Marcelle BB Cream in golden glow just a subtle finish and isn't drying. I've been wearing Maybelline Urban Dream (I think that's what it's called, lol) and doesn't settle into my fine lines. Hope this helps! 😊

I was really impressed with that mascara - I thought for sure it would smudge. I guess I hear jojoba oil and I just assume it will ☺ That blush is beautiful, and the way it blended on the edges made it look like you had a highlighter on. This looks like a fantastic line - way to go L'Oreal!

Mel, this looks really good on you. I agree with wanting everything that hydrates. Your eyebrows always look nice. I can’t do mine well at all. I look pale everyday ha ha , except for the redness in my cheeks! You have similar coloring to me, have you ever tried a maroon eyeliner? Just curious what you’d think of that.

I was wondering what shade you are in the infallible pro glow or pro matte. Also if you let the concealer sit under your eyes for 30 seconds before you blend it will help with the coverage because it sets up a bit.

I use L'Oréal pro glow and I mix the shades 201 & 203 to get the perfect shade for me. Sometimes I warm the concealer up on the back of my hand but thank you for the tip. Thanks for stopping by and have a great day! 🙋‍♀️

It's been 2 years since you filmed this and I am curious how you feel about it now? I am 61 years old and am looking for my first job in over 35 years and am looking for a very (VERY) lightweight make up and a make-up routine. I have not worn any make-up (except on extreme rare occasions) since I was in my 30's and obviously everything has changed dramatically. The make-up I have tried in the past year or so feels extremely heavy and fake to me and within a few hours I feel that I am very greasy and I want to wash it off. I tend to have mostly oily skin and I know that I should be using something for a moisturizer but again everything I have tried feels too oily. Any suggestions? I just found you today by searching information on this line of products. Thanks in advance.

Hi Heidi! Nice to meet you and thank you for taking the time to leave a comment. I still use most of these products in my makeup routine. The only two I don't reach for is the concealer as it just didn't provide enough coverage for me and I rarely use the eyebrow pencil as my holy grail one is by Maybelline and I just haven't found one better. Since filming this video I also purchased the Age Perfect powder foundation, which is quite nice and one of the cream eyeshadows which is really pretty on the eye lid, it's like a one and done for the eyes. Now one of their latest products is a Tinted Balm which I just did a review on a few months ago. This is a great product for a light coverage and doesn't seem to sink into my fine lines. I'm not sure if you've watched Angie from the channel Hot & Flashy but she is in her late 50s with oily skin and she absolutely loves this product. It's light weight, more of a sheer coverage but you can apply it with your fingers or a sponge. The serum foundation in this video is one of my favourites but I have dry skin so I'm not sure how it would apply on oily skin. You could give it a try and apply powder to set it. It might be helpful to apply it with a sponge instead of a brush too, that way you get a more sheer coverage. I hope this helps! 😊
