New Lamborghini Twin Turbo V8 Huracan Replacement

Lamborghini is set to replace its iconic V10 engine with a new 4.0-liter twin-turbo V-8 in the Huracán successor. This high-revving engine reaches a remarkable 10,000 rpm, delivering 789 horsepower and 538 pounds-foot of torque. It features a flat-plane crankshaft, “hot-vee” turbo placement, and a hybrid system similar to the Revuelto. Paired with an axial-flux electric motor and an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission, the setup promises outstanding performance. Lamborghini's first flat-plane V-8, equipped with advanced valvetrain technology, will debut in the new Huracán successor this August.

Bad ass engine, but too bad the front end looks like a carbon copy of a 1995 Camaro.. what the hell are they thinking? The Tecnica was the best looking “Baby” Lamborghini ever made.. I will keep my C8 Z07 instead of buying this thing. Dammit I was so excited until I saw the front. Gallardo crossed between a 1995 Camaro.. Now put this power plant in a Tecnica and I would have it in a heartbeat. Again, what the hell are they thinking?

The electrical system in a hybrid does not effect the sound of an ICE motor,this is a very big misconception on Hybrid cars,you can have a screaming v12 engine in a hybrid and the electrical part will not at all interfere with the sound of the engine unless it is turned off to use the ev mode.

The thing making engines now sound quiet is the strict EU laws that requires manufacturers to put many filters and mufflers on cars making them sound very muffled,but this can be fixed with an aftermarket system, and with this 10,000RPM flatplane crank V8 it has the ingredients to sound very good.
