To be honest the looks is just a change of plastic and that doesn't cost anything to produce. The Ami needs a serious redesign from the ground up. The 48v battery drive system is promising but has not proven to be good value for money compared to the 12 year old Renault Twizy in terms of power, range, chassis, suspension, and of course age. The suspension is actual poor quality and design that's both rough and rollover prone, when an Ami should have the old 2CV Suspension Weatherproofing has been a widespread complaint in Great Britain and similar rainy places, failing the charge inverter in some cases. Defogging and Defrosting is a risk concern. The Ami should've been more like the 2CV in some places, and less like a €8000 Playmobil
