Yeah, seven of us. There are one portion foil freezer pans on Amazon. I just make what I used to and freeze the rest for later. Stick them in the oven and it's all good. I cook a 7 person meal one day a week. So you build a variety in the freezer. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0763T1HT3/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

My grandma used to make “candy cane cookies”. They were just butter cookies where you would dye half the dough red then roll little snakes of the red and white dough and twist together into candy cane shapes. And right when they came out of the oven you rolled them in crushed candy canes and sugar. They were the best! And very fun for little ones because it’s like playing with play dough.

Most baked cookies do freeze awesome. My mom spends 2 months making several dozen of about 30 different kinds of cookies every year. Then she makes cookie trays to give away for Christmas. Sometimes we have some left over that are just as good 6 to 8 months later. Some cookies do crumble easier after being frozen that long.

Hi, I live on a Farm in Australia, and got to visit the nearest city and went to Costco for the first time.It was awesome to see ingredients that I see in your segments! I was overwhelmed, but that didn't last long. How lucky you all are to be able to buy such ingredients.I grabbed the exact garlic you showed here and the french fried onions ( I tried an american slow cooker recipe, but minus these as couldn't find in local shops)..Loved every minute I was in Costco , and putting those items in my pantry 🙂

Girl when I did my monthly grocery trip, and I had to pick up my Thanksgiving fixings as well, I was given odd looks. For our large family and then some coming in for Thanksgiving, I needed 100 pounds of flour and 50 pounds of sugar. My cashier looked at me funny at Walmart asking me if I own a bakery. I said no I have a large household and make everything from scratch. When I started rambling through my Thanksgiving list of food I'm cooking, the manager that was bringing her change asked me where I live.😄 I said well I do have to go boxes just in case. I mean I spent alone on Thanksgiving 400 bucks plus our monthly grocery shopping trip too was over budget. I stocked the pantry this month. Take care Girl and have a blessed day 💛

Just a note from an old southern lady. I make the easiest cranberry relish, very tart but delicious. 1234. 1 whole orange rind everything but seeds, 2 cups fresh cranberries, 3/4 cups sugar. Put fruit into a blender and blend, then add the 3/4 cups sugar and put in a sealed bowl. And y’all are done. I usually make this 1-2 days before serving. Like I said very fresh and tart. P. S. My kids always wanted the kind that slides out of the can !
