But yeah, I became SO INVESTED in Bumpy watching that show, that I went through the volcano scene in the 2nd World movie frame by frame looking for any Ankylosaurus that maybe almost could have been Bumpercar. I needed to believe somehow, that she got off Isla Nublar.

The baby wins. Really like the motion with a small set. I'm not a huge fan of the normal big molds since a lot of them feel more like a regular toy versus LEGO. I do like the vehicles in the sets.

I like the big molded dinosaurs. I mean they scale pretty fairly when compared to the rest of Lego all things considered. And they brick built ones scale horribly or look really bad at smaller more accurate scales.

There is a creator 3in 1 set that lets you build tyrannosaurus, triceratops and some kind of pterosaur. Actually two similar sets one smaller for around 10-20$ (I forgor) another was recently released for 60$

They don't look bad, but for me it isn't Lego. The concept of Lego is to put little bricks together to create shapes. These dinos look like generic toys from another brand.

honestly the carnotaurus jaw would work fine. it actually has the about same width as the baryonyx jaw, so i'm considering trying it. the Quetzalcoatlus and Brachiosaurus also have this width, and the indoraptor may as well, (though i dont actually own that one to test it) but i think we can all agree those are not an option.

That Allosaurus was incredibly cheaped out on. Not a single claw painted, lack of any detail for the tail, the jaw isn't even tan to go along with the underside, it's just like Lego got lazy.

The reason the Allosaurus' jaw looks so goofy is because LEGO likes to reuse elements from other dinos to make less moulds. The jaw was repourposed from the baryonyx and i know this because i checked it with my own. Also it is a bit dissapointing that the new dinos dont have nail polish and that the stego doesnt have prints on its legs but WE HAVE PAPER BAGS!!!

That’s the Baryonyx Jaw. It doesn’t look good on Allosaurus at all, not even when opened. The Carnotorus Jaw probably would have worked better.

I’m glad that Lego made an allosaurus, but I’m quite upset that it is a bit oversized, they made it as big as a T Rex, even bigger. It bothers me because my Lego t Rex already looks tiny next to my Lego carno, now the allosaurus is also bigger than T Rex makes Rexy looks so small.

It looks like the series starts tomorrow, according to the poster from Netflix, so you could have waited a day or two to get to know the characters if you were interested in their minifigs. Looks like the series is a sequel to their previous series, Camp Cretaceous, so there are some returning characters as well. I was asking for set recommendations at the local Lego Store, and Jory recommended the T-Rex escape set due to the building experience and the details in the instruction book.

5:12 I think that might be some kind of freezer/cooler to keep specimens in. Those clear cheese slope pieces are probably meant to represent ice forming inside. I may be wrong though, just my assumption for a research vehicle.

Trucks with dinosaur cages are the greatest. I had the T-Rex Tracker from the original Jurassic World wave, and I LOVED it! (Up until my dog ate the cage bit of it.) The Allosaurus Transport Truck feels like a spiritual successor to that set in all the right ways. The weird looking lower jaw is actually starting to grow on me, even! The ONLY fault I really have with it is the lack of claw printing. That level, or rather, lack of detail is something I see knockoff and 3rd party Lego brands doing.

At first I just figured it's fine cause I thought Lego had been doing two colored tails for a while now, and while a couple of dinos in my collection, like the Indominus and Giga, or even the new Brachiosaurus from this year, also have just two color tails, they at least have a semi interesting pattern to go on them. The Allo's is just straight up molded in two different colors with some basic, and I mean basic, printing on the tip of the tail to continue the color.

Bumpy is pretty cool! The moulded dino's don't look much like LEGO at all. I prefer the classic Adventurers Dino Island ones. Less detailed for sure. But very LEGO!

I'd quite like to know if brick-builtv dino's might be feasible. After the double whammy of cool brick-built T-Rexes in the Jurassic Park sets, I found myself quite disappointed that the later wave of Park sets didn't follow suit and just had fully moulded ones instead.
