Agreed, I can't get over how many people are complaining about the set, it looks freaking phenomenal People have their expectations way too high nowadays imo, the thing looks so genuinely stunning and true to the real car. Honestly if anything I'm only let down by the colour choice, it would've been awesome to see this car in a bright yellow or darker blue instead so part of me hopes the Countach might see a similar situation to the Fiat 500, which was released in pastel yellow then later blue.

@@clockwork3494 That would have been better especially since the Porsche 911 is in White already. But with the Speed Champions Countach I thought they'd do it in White as it worked well. Plus White is iconic for the car hell the modern remake also came in White that was basically a redesigned Sian lol, which I liked a lot it was overhated imo.

I’ve been holding off purchases until double points, it’s close now! Natural history museum, 2 more Lego stores to build a MOC, 2 mandalorian battle packs, moff Gideon set and Rex micro fighter, along with some pick a bricks. That’s what I’m buying, which with double points will get me to my next reward level and then I’ll be redeeming those points when the next modular is released 👌🏻

I agree that £80 is a chunk of money but compared to other icon sets and the price I initially thought it was going to be easily could have charged a £100 with the licence alone, £80 is a fair deal for around 950pcs. And it's a 2in1 without having to be broken down. I think it's fair and a Day one buy.

@@nathanshelton9420 I know I love his Bayverse/modern design but IT'S G1🔥🔥🔥🔥. It goes with The Optimus they did previously so it was to be expected l, I'm excited tbh. Hopefully after they Finish G1 (hoping for a Starscream, Soundwave is more likely and a Megatron) then they move onto Bayverse/ROTB designs as I thought he'd be his ROTB Camaro to go along with the movie, more so in an Creator Expert style car.

Will need some better pictures of the Bumblebee, but first impressions aren't great. G1 design didn't translate quite as a well as the Optimus Prime. Will be curious to see the transformation process, and completed vehicle though. Icons Lambo despite some inaccuracies still looks fantastic, and the scaling looks great beside all of the other vehicles. Really expensive but a definite buy for me.

Ill get Bumblee someday as its not the cybertronian I thought they would release next. Im glad its at least the classic G1 version and not any of the movie versions. Kinda disappointed as I really thought Lego would have gone with Megatron first as him and Prime are one of the most iconic rivals in pop culture. Guess Ill have to keep waiting for that one. Really surprised Lego hasnt tapped more into Transformers as they have with IP's like Minecraft who excel at the block built aesthetic

Can't wait for that Bumblebee. It's still a little bit over my price range ($90 USD translates to about $120 USD) but I'll make an exception. I would love to support the Mario 18+ sets, but that's still a bit more expensive than I would like, especially if I'm going to be splurging on Bumblebee. Can't wait for the Mark V BrickHeadz though! The Mark V is my favorite Iron Man suit from the movies and I'm going to proudly display it.
