My first lego build in ages (maybe 30 years lol). I loved it as well and have since hung it on my office wall. My only knock as you mentioned the stickers. I think applying them added an hour plus on my build time trying to make sure they were applied straight.

I got this and I already need help with it. Page 18 - step 10 there’s two little pieces I don’t know where they go and no indication as to where it goes like the other instructions.

The two pieces I believe you are referring to, are the two hole pieces with an axel hole. They go straight down on the wheel spindle and the silver coupler part on top.

Oh maybe I am just a content creator making a content. If you actually watch through a lot of my videos you would learn I go against the majority of Lego content creators that bash Lego for being ungrateful people that want what they want from Lego, instead of seeing the good in what’s given to us.

Just subscribed, I’m also a huge F1 nut. A few weeks ago I saw the small McLaren F1 car and had to buy it. Since then I’ve picked up the pull back Mercedes Technics, the 22 McLaren Technics, and trying to get my hands on the new Mercedes W14 Technics. I haven’t played with LEGO since I was a kid. At the ripe old age of 47, my love for LEGO has returned. My wife and I can’t get enough of it. Even purchased 3 new tall bookcases just to store the ever growing stash. Thanks to F1 I am totally addicted to LEGO again! Keep up the nice work, and thank you.

That’s incredible. The big F1 cars are chefs kiss. I really loved the new 1:8 W14, its front center under my Tv. lol I just got my mom building Lego at 63. After a year of her investing in this channel, she decided to finally try. Not she is cruising sets to buy for herself. She has bought a lot, but had me build them for her in the past.

I cannot agree with you more. I started watching F1 this February. I also have built this car. I added the Yellow $4s fore and aft. And I dida vinyl Pirelli tire decal applique as well. Look utterly amazing. I am addicted to F1. I did watch Drive to Survive. A very apropos naming convention that's a double entendre of sorts. Highly addictive reality TV at 200 MPH. I am no sourcing the MCL38 McLaren with current livery from Lukas RS Design. His Ferrari and McLaren are 3361 piece 1:8 scale tributes to the sport. Doing the McLaren because I am a fan of their papaya color scheme, and doing a Lewis Hamilton Ferrari for next season.

"NASCAR is a dying sport, F1 is growing faster and faster." The Cup race at Phoenix drew 4 million viewers in the US. The F1 race from Jeddah (the last for six weeks that won't be in the middle of the night in the US) only drew 1.5 million. F1 is great. NASCAR is great. Indycar is great. WEC is great. Modifieds at the bullring down the street are great. Let's not get ahead of ourselves on Americans pivoting to a sport that has been largely processional for 25 of the last 30 years.

For me it’s the pay wall. I actually cut a 2 minute portion of the video discussing that it is quite sad to see a sport locked behind a high cost pay wall for a viewer that can only watch by streaming service. For me in my area it’s $60 a month minimum vs f1 being $80 a year. It is sad to know I have to pay $720 for my favorite drivers to go in circles and get pissed at each other and talk smack. I knew I should’ve left my point in the video. But I’m struggling with attention retention at the moment.
