Trusty blade is back! I've been lusting after the UE900 for some time, hoping that it will be the best of what I've already got in my UE600 and UE700.

Ultimate Ears always did a great job with their in ear monitors. I still own a pair of M-Audio IE 10 made for them by Ultimate Ears and it is always a pleasure to listen to them. Probably one of the best for music monitoring, second after Shure monitors. Happy to see that they still use multiple drivers into their monitors.

Tried this headphone and i was happier with my shure se215. The mids do sound better than the 215 but for the price I felt it was too much. I would like to see your thoughts of the se215 and other se models of the shure. Right now I have the klipsch x7i and do enjoy them for a more balance clean sound.

Also...the benefit of replacement cables is massive....how ever my triple-fis....sat there with the one head that i didnt loose reminds me of the cons also. Once the contact starts to wear they drop of easily and the head is lost even easier... :(

Cool, can't wait to hear what you conclude about these headphones. I have the XBA4 but the cable shorted (In which I'm working on repairing) so I'm looking for a newer, better pair of IEMs; don't want to go backwards In quality. I believe the Sony XBA line lacks in perks, build quality (for the money), and the comfortability of the earbuds took some getting used to, to say the least. I actually wrap them around my ears as you would these UE's, it's a complete better design and build (the UE)

I used my iPhone 4S as an source for the X10i's. It seems like i just had a defective pair, I ended up returning them. I'm waiting on my Sennheiser IE 80's to arrive now. Have you tried out the IE 80's? If so, how much better will they be compared to the X10i's ?

I bought the Klipsch X10i's and when i would turn the volume up high i would get a lot of distortion. I was wondering if something is wrong with the ones i have or did you experience this as well ?

I bought a great pair of earphones for $20. They sounded as good as the Bose in ear headphones to me. So as long as it has 4 stars or higher on Amazon, you should be fine.

I have them. They sound great. I got them on sale for like 60 USD. I wouldn't pay 100 for them though. Oh I got the Android mic and controller one. The mic sounds great but it is kinda awkwardly placed. I also have the Sony XBA-3. I prefer those. They are the best sounding headphones that I own. I have yet to get anything better as I don't want to spend over 100 bucks for headphones.

No. There's plenty of high rated $20 earphones. That doesn't mean it's automatically as good as a high rated $300 earphone. Also, BOSE sucks.
