Here are some ways to earn good deeds after death: 1) Give a copy of the Qur'an to someone. Each time one reads from it you gain. 2) Donate a wheelchair to a hospital. Each time a sick person uses it you gain. 3) Participate in building a masjid. 4) Place a watercooler in a public space. 5) Plant a tree. You gain whenever a person or an animal sits in its shade or eats from it. 6) And the easiest of all, share this message to spread the goodness.

No, brother. It is not. Wouldn't you rather prefer a young Muslim attend this conference rather than a night club? We can't make what is Halal into Haram. That would leave no space for young Muslims to belong. And that's exactly what our enemies want. And this conference being held has little to do with wahn. I'm not sure if you've even listened to it, but here they speak about death, about the deaths in the family of these people and how to turn to Allah for strength. They speak about making your connection with Allah better. That what makes us strong and our enemy fear us.

حديث الاستبدال هَا أَنتُمْ هَٰؤُلَاءِ تُدْعَوْنَ لِتُنفِقُوا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَمِنكُم مَّن يَبْخَلُ وَمَن يَبْخَلْ فَإِنَّمَا يَبْخَلُ عَن نَّفْسِهِ وَاللَّهُ الْغَنِيُّ وَأَنتُمُ الْفُقَرَاءُ وَإِن تَتَوَلَّوْا يَسْتَبْدِلْ قَوْمًا غَيْرَكُمْ ثُمَّ لَا يَكُونُوا أَمْثَالَكُم ‎﴿محمد 38﴾ قَال ناسٌ من أَصحاب رسول الله: يَا رَسُولَ الله، مَنْ هَؤُلاَءِ الذينَ ذكَرَ اللهُ تعالى إنْ تَوَلَّيْنَا اسْتُبْدِلُوا بِنَا ثُمَّ لَمْ يَكُونُوا أَمْثَالَنَا؟ وَكَانَ سَلْمَانُ بِجَنْبِ رَسُولِ اللهِ، قَالَ فضَرَبَ رَسُولُ الله فخِذَ سَلْمَانَ، وقَال: "هَذا وَأَصْحَابُهُ؛ وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ لَوْ كَانَ الإِيمَانُ مَنُوطًا بالثّرَيّا لَتَنَاوَلَهُ رجَالٌ مِنْ فارس".

As much as i love to see them all together, in my heart i can also encounter a doleful emotion. Cause it made me think that how amazing it would've been if the muslim ummah united to fight against every barrier and every problem that the ummah goes through or our brothers and sisters go through all around the world. I really want the muslim ummah to be united and be respectful towards each other. I hope for them to be more responsible about their respective brothers and sisters. Today even though we can see a lot of muslims fighting for the innocent lifes in gaza, we also have to realise that it’s not enough. We can do a lot better if we want and make major impacts! وَاعْتَصِمُوا بِحَبْلِ اللَّهِ جَمِيعًا وَلَا تَفَرَّقُوا ۚ وَاذْكُرُوا نِعْمَتَ اللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ إِذْ كُنتُمْ أَعْدَاءً فَأَلَّفَ بَيْنَ قُلُوبِكُمْ فَأَصْبَحْتُم بِنِعْمَتِهِ إِخْوَانًا وَكُنتُمْ عَلَىٰ شَفَا حُفْرَةٍ مِّنَ النَّارِ فَأَنقَذَكُم مِّنْهَا ۗ كَذَٰلِكَ يُبَيِّنُ اللَّهُ لَكُمْ آيَاتِهِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَهْتَدُونَ ‎﴿١٠٣﴾‏ وَلْتَكُن مِّنكُمْ أُمَّةٌ يَدْعُونَ إِلَى الْخَيْرِ وَيَأْمُرُونَ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَيَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ الْمُنكَرِ ۚ وَأُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُونَ ‎﴿١٠٤﴾‏ وَلَا تَكُونُوا كَالَّذِينَ تَفَرَّقُوا وَاخْتَلَفُوا مِن بَعْدِ مَا جَاءَهُمُ الْبَيِّنَاتُ ۚ وَأُولَٰئِكَ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌ ‎﴿١٠٥﴾ Hold on firmly together to the rope of Allaah, and be not divided among yourselves, and remember the favours Allaah bestowed on you when you were one another's foe and He reconciled your hearts, and you turned into brethren through His grace. You had stood on the edge of a pit of fire and He saved you from it, thus revealing to you His clear signs that you may find the right way perchance. So let there be a body among you who may call to the good, enjoin what is esteemed and forbid what is odious. They are those who will be successful. So be not like those who became disunited and differed among themselves after clear proofs had come to them. For them is great suffering.

That last quote is so beautiful. It reminded me of the Hadith that says that there is good for the believer in all of his affairs and that is only the case for the believer. If something positive befalls him he is great full and that is better for him. If he is struck with a calamity he is patient and that is better for him. (This is not the exact wording but just what I remember)
