The thing I’m digging about these Suns: “So, this is what it looks like to have a coach that can make in-game adjustments!”
@slyktech18602 ай бұрын
This is the first Phoenix Suns team where the coach is making adjustments while in game. Mike D'Antoni and Alvin Gentry would just do the same things but at a quick pace the entire game and lose even with great players. Having a coach like this is important for a Championship.

I think zero has raised the floor and the ceiling for this team. He certainly raised my expectations. And I had already raised them with the addition of two quality point guards. We have the perimeter Defenders to be an elite defensive team this year. The offense certainly doesn't appear to be a problem. I believe what we're seeing will improve. Because of Coach bud. Go Suns ! !

I believe in my Suns and I also agree we need a better center. I like Nurk. He gave us more effort than Ayton did so I respect him for that.

Ayton helped us go to the finals nurk helped us got swept he was non existent in that series with the wolves plz . When the suns lost in the finals they blamed it on ayton and only him especially the coach they destroyed his confidence. You ever wonder why Detroit fired him with 5 years left on his contract

A couple things they can improve more is consistency in defense because this year they almost blew 20 pts leads in 2 o 3 games and also they need a big and agressive center

They pretty good and they have played some pretty good teams so far. Sure Clippers can be question as 'Pretty Good' because of their record but they are pretty scrappy defensively. I'm still surprised that they went with Vogel in the first place. Just because Vogel won (In the bubble) didn't make him the best candidate in My opinion. Hs was a defensive minded coach on a team that was built to outscore the opponents. I think this year's defense is a surprise but they picked up O''Neale at the last part of the season. Dunn is a nice Pick-up and should be a candidate for Rookie of the year but they will likely go with Rookie starters than one that will likely come off the bench. The Suns' First 20 games are pretty tough. They should win against the 76ers and the Heat but their big test again is in Dallas on Friday.

Why? We play so much better without him. We can actually play defense when he’s not there. He can’t start with Tyus and Booker.
@MarcosPolos2 ай бұрын
He has been good when he plays and has given his best when he does. They are probably just trying to avoid back to backs for him without explicitly saying it as to not risk over straining his back.

I disagree. To me, they look a LOT like they did last season. vogel was the scapegoat. they havent made any changes. kd is still running point WAY too much, turning the ball over WAY too much, they're still not moving enough on the court, just posting up behind the 3 point line. nurkic hasnt improved. kd and book are getting older. beal isnt doing much. bol bol isnt getting any minutes. Im glad they've managed to win some games, but I dont like the way they've won. they should be kicking teams ass by 20 every game with this lineup.
@OrangeUaLemon2 ай бұрын
You really don’t know what you’re talking about. Turnovers, 4th quarters, adjustments and defense look much better. They’re also shooting 3’s at a much higher clip. Idk how you can really watch these games so far and say they’re the same as last year. Royce is even better and healthier looking this year due to a diet change. This is a much better team. Last year the team wasn’t even complete. Our only big flaws are rim protection and a vertical threat, also Beal is always hurt.
@OrangeUaLemon2 ай бұрын
Mainly, you saying Vogel was a scapegoat is nonsense. Yeah they have some tendencies like KD turning it over too much, but Vogel wasn’t the coach needed for multiple superstars. You already can see them play WAY harder , whereas last year they weren’t bought in. They also are much better in the clutch this year. You’re looking at player tendencies, but missing the effort and connection they have with Bud, not to mention his adjustments and who he plays/how he plays them. Vogel wasn’t the only issue, but he was a massive one! They play like a real nba team on offense, Vogel was a defensive minded coach and yet Bud has them playing better defense than Vogel did. Partly due to the Dunn effect.
@OrangeUaLemon2 ай бұрын
Oh man, I didn’t even realize you had said Bol isn’t getting any minutes 😅 you really don’t know what you’re talking about my friend, you just do not. They turn the ball over WAY less as well. Bol Bol shouldn’t be getting any minutes and the fact you think so makes me realize this is a pointless debate to try and enact. Bol’s defense isn’t good enough for his offense to matter. Also, Beal has played well just hasnt played every game so far.
@OrangeUaLemon2 ай бұрын
Nah man , you should be happy to see them getting into tough situations and overcoming them. That’s a way better recipe for long term success than just blowing teams out. Once they can put a full 4 quarters together they will be tho

They go to sleep for sometimes more than a quarter. Do not play a full game. Not a good thing in the playoffs. Turnovers galore.

Their turnovers have been much better thus far, aside from game 1 really. They haven’t put a full game together and are 5-1, that to me, is encouraging. They have a full season to put games together and it was take no less than a couple weeks at most to do so. This team wins 55+ if reasonably healthy.
