Actually really like this set, but I'm afraid the pull rates are going to be abysmal. I've had some incredibly bad luck with all sets since Evolving Skies. Really prefer the Japanese sets.

I agree with this, aside from Astral Radiance. I occasionally pick up a pack or a couple packs of this and ive got a solid amount of V, VSTAR, and Trainer gallerys Meanwhile I’ve opened 100s of packs from other sets since chilling reign and still never pulled an alt. Art

English sets are really bad with their recent pull rates. Too bloated. I prefer to collect sealed in English and get my pull experience from the Japanese sets

reason this set is good is because the trainer gallery is probably the best one yet. so even if the alt arts have horrible pull rates your still going to be getting alot of great cards.

Watched several videos of booster boxes being ripped and each box GUARANTEES 15 hits (V Basic, VMAX, VSTAR, Trainer Gallery, and Alt Arts). So, in terms of being bad luck, I doubt it for this upcoming set!

I don’t play the TCG and realized I’ve been spending too much on sealed product even with Trainer Gallery cards boosting the pull rate. Nice got some pulls in the beginning but getting dryer. My plan might skip buying lost origin booster box (buy single or some packs). And focus on Charizard premium set (which im getting 2 of em with my friend help)

I just recently got into Pokémon cards, I picked up 10 packs of Brilliant Skies I believe they were and it felt so awesome pulling some of the full arts in that set. Even if they aren't really worth much I find it exciting. That being said I have pre-ordered a box of Lost Origin as well as the Elite Trainer Box just because I would like to go after some of the chase cards. I want to pre-order the incandescent arcana set from Japan but I have looked everywhere and have found no where to pre-order it before it drops Sept. 2nd. With the cards that have been revealed in that pack I am guessing they will sell quickly or have a higher aftermarket price so I'm not sure what to do about that but we will see :)

I pulled Snorlax at prerelease and my son pulled 2 Giratina Vstars! He was stoked. Giratina is one of his favorite pokemon bc it's the only pokemon that go back and forth to the distortion realm. Pretty cool!!

I pulled the Pikachu V from Vmax Climax. I think it’s a lot more stunning card than the Vmax and will bet the English version will be around the $30 range like the Misty and Cynthia cards. The Vmax just doesn’t do it for me personally. I’m thinking that ones a $10-15 card.

Bro... Jake. There is a stupid charizard in this set. It's a trainer gallery. Honestly I think this set is really stacked. Like you said it has giratina, it has the snorlax, gengar, charizard, pikachu ( both trainer gallery and the black and gold), gold and black mew. For some the aerodacktyl. A few more okay cards too
