I saw a brand in 2000's where company made an older longboard/cruiser style truck very similar, and people used the smallest size on a bigger board like an 8.75--9 inch wide board. Some used smallest on a 8 inch board and would go put a cruiser wheel on said board having wheel over edge of entire board becuse in my town our old skatepark was crap on some of the worst asphalt where places was turning to gravel. Some people even bought the odd from K-Mart dirt with rubber knobby wheel on metal which was built more like a modern all around/SUV skateboard and would on wheels modify so you could upgrade the bearings to actual skateboard ones often replacing stiff board with an 8.5 width like board basically buying cheap board for trucks/riser. I have seen for fixing kingpin issues people use rails on trucks cut and skate people would use a JB weld or melt on metal using 2 layers. Some older 1980's trucks came with a plastic on very bottom of a cruiser/old trick board becuse of how big the kingpin was in 1980's.

It’s taken a long time. Remember seeing posts late last year that they were ’releasing soon’. But now it’s happening. I didn’t get the last ones. Was going to but then the negative reviews started coming in and it turned me off of them. Looking forward to trying them out and riding a 55mm truck again.

We need to bring back kreper trucks. Those batwing hangers and skull baseplates were cool af. Were they good? Not really, but they were cool.

Thanks for the vid. main concern is that kingpin is wayyy too close to the hanger, similar to Thunders. Navigator were the best trucks IMO, just weird to break in the groove on em. Krux turn amazing, but I’ve snapped axles before

Thunder is working on a different baseplate, it would probably be a different truck option and not a replacement for the current design.

Hello people!!! I got the 139 Lurpivs, 8.0 very stabil and fun to turn with the inverted mode, have this board to go back to after a injury, only thing difficult to adjust with have to bring 4mm with the insex key but its only have to be adjusted one time fore the kind of weight and type of skating you do. They Have to give option to fix the next Lurpiv to invert mode so it should be more versetile for advanced skaters for coping and rails so they not going to hang up. So i think the problem still is to get an inverted kingpin to this new trucks that works, because the 1V failed and slip out Yes? and i know the dimention off the org V1 Lurpiv kinpin can't Be modefied with other inverted modell/ brands off trucks. No regret to buy Lurpiv very stabil and turnable trucks. Nr: Trucks for FUN Bought a pair off Classics Ace 55 never had more fun with a pair off trucks, i'm no pro but the way they turn make it possible for me to be a better skater everyting gets twice as easy. I also have the V1s, but for 8.5 and I love them. I purchased the grub screw baseplates which were awesome but one of them fell out, do have any recommendations on what I should do? I can’t seem to find the replacement grub screw anywhere online. Thanks, Zaid

Oh and I replaced Ace bushings with the hard ones. No threads showing, no blow outs and the turn is similar but more stable.

What Ace trucks you skate? 1st pair of Ace trucks I bought were AF1 44s(8.25) but were actually smaller IMO. Got 55s(af1s) & Snot wheels 54mm, use classic 55s on🐉🐉now

Really want to get some hard bushings for the Classic 55s, I don't know why I prefer them over the af1s, just turn better imo. I have 151 stage 4 reissues on my 8.75 flight deck now(red bushings)

Are they light weight. No mention of the weight comparison. I think they are lighter than they look after getting a 145 set.

Nah bro these trucks are not it at all. The kingpin is wayyyy to high, the truck shape looks good but for 80 dollars no I’ll pass 100% I grew up on indes, I tried slappy inverted hollows and they are hands down the best trucks on the market. Stupid good grind clearance, with indes I would get hung up sometimes by the kingpin ever since I switched that hasn’t happened since. They 55mm tall just like these and indes trust me the best truck on the market is slappy 100%
