I’m torn between IPad Air 11inch or getting IPad 10th generation 256GB just thinking about money don’t want to be spending a massive amount of money. Don’t have an iPad at the moment. Thinking about getting USB-C Apple Pencil as well

You honestly can’t go wrong with either. Love the look and feel of the M2 Air, but the iPad 10th gen is a solid choice too. The colors are also more vibrant on the 10th gen with the added fun bonus of the Magic Keyboard folio!

Welcome back. Love this being your first video back. Do you know if the Apple Pencil 2nd generation will work with the new iPad Airs? I got both of mine a year ago. Would you recommend upgrading the air and pencil?

Only the Apple Pencil Pro and Apple Pencil USB-C is compatible with the new Airs! I’ll have a full review to share soon though to hopefully help you make that decision!

Tried pre-ordering the new Pro. As my 2020 11inch has finally gone puff. But my credit score isn't good. But I've been thinking of getting a cheaper ipad option like the air or the mini. But as I use Affinity Design & Publisher the most I'm not sure if it will still be okay comparably. (If anyone could let me know especially if they use pro + minis/airs that be great. Do I stick with getting the pro or not needed? As I got to save my money to try and get it.

It kinda looks like it compared to the regular display! Feels matte but not grippy like the Paperlike.

Apple keeps support for “older” devices for soooo long. The 6th gen is still new and fresh, honestly. You’ll have support for that ipad for a long while!

@@KDigitalStudio Thanks! They are so so expensive and that is the only one I can afford at the moment. I enjoy it as it’s really my real first piece of tech I have been so involved in and I’m in early 40’s lol. I’m pretty slow but digital planning and such has been a blast!

you have no worries there. personally, in my opinion, the M2 12.9 Pro is the best iPad to purchase overall. it is better than the Air 12.9 and a little bit under from the new M4 pro. which is way too expensive. at the end of the day, it is just an iPad. - 12.9 iPad Pro user (M2)

This was kind of just regurgitating all of the keywords from the event… I was hoping for more of your actual thoughts rather than that, so I hope to know more about how good these are for art when you talk more about them. I’m waffling between the two so I’m trying to figure out which one to get for artmaking and 3D sculpting.

I shared my first impressions. This isn’t intended to be a full fledged review :) barrel roll & squeeze, specifically, will take some getting used to for me. And I’m excited about the design for Pros and the power of Air. Either can be used for digital art, but 3D sculpting would be best suited for the Pro. I’ll have my typical in-depth review soon!

Oof… try & remember the people invited to these events only get to test them for a very short period of time before they’re shuffled out of the way for the next group of invitees. The things just got announced yesterday and don’t get released for a week. Give people time to own and use them first 😂
