Glad you were able to snag a different stroller. There is NOTHING like the pressure of people waiting on you to break down a stroller to get on the bus. BEEN THERE! Also, way to not lose your mind trying to be a hero and struggling the rest of the trip with it. I'm guilty of that & have to remind myself I have nothing to prove. You have 2 hands and need more. Solution = get the stroller you're used to. Sounds like new one will be so handy (with two people)!

we always rent our strollers. it’s just so much easier for us. kingdom strollers is my all time favorite because they deliver right to the resort and they include rain covers.

We made a stroller mistake too! We did a 10 day trip in February and my kids were 8, a few weeks shy of 6, and almost 3. We do not own a double stroller. The entire time I was planning our trip, the plan was to bring our City Mini single for my youngest, and a GB Pockit for my almost 6yo just in case. Last minute I listened to all the FB groups and decided to rent a city mini double. It was AWFUL. The quick close mechanism was broken, so my husband would stand there shaking it and struggling trying to get on the bus or Skyliner. The stroller company replaced it, but we had the same issue with the new one. Thankfully we did end up bringing our gb Pockit for the airport, so a few times when we knew we wouldn't be in the park all day we just used that one. Lesson learned. Go with what you know. My kids are small, and so were within the height and weight limits, but it was SO hard to push for us since we aren't used to pushing a double stroller. Good thing we're not planning another trip for a couple of years because my husband will never go near a double stroller again 😂😂

Truthfully, I learned a lot from this video, especially the stroller. Funny thing is I did buy a new stroller for last years trip BUT it was the Joovy you recommended and it worked SO well. Glad you were able to rent one.

I got the cheaper jolly kooper x2 at your recommendation and love it. I personally can’t stand tandem strollers but I totally get the want with the skyliner. Glad you found a solution

Same stroller thing happened to us last summer-we had brought one that we hadn’t brought before (we also go to Disney very much 😂😂) and ended up having to buy a new one (similar to the one we usually bring) there bc it just wasn’t working for us! Gotta do what you gotta do ❤

We were in Orlando last week. My husband booked us dinner at 1900 Park Fare last minute. The food was so good and I thought the characters were amazing at what they do. We have a baby so they talked with us about him. Aladdin said baby could be like Apu, tricksy, but the cute eyes win you over. The only think I didn't like about there is it's a bit close quarters. My husband kept bumping into the guy next to us and of course my husband is oblivious.

Our family is going to try 1900 Park Fare. The breakfast looks great. How does the Minnie vans work? Do you book in the my Disney Experience app? I am with you I am nervous about ubers also. At least you tried with the strollers and realized it wasn’t going to work by yourself. Glad you were able to rent another stroller. You and your girls were having a great time on the teacups.

It was amazing!! You actually book the Minnie Vans through the Lyft app but a Cast Member is your driver instead of a stranger. There are also two convertible carseats included. I'm so excited to use it when Dean is with me but solo it just didn't work. Thank you!!

@@thepixiedustedmom awesome I will download the app for the Minnie van. That may come in handy when we to extra magic hours at Epcot and Magic Kingdom. My son is 23 so I don’t need car seats, but it is great that they have them. I will let my niece know about Minnie Vans. She has a 2 year old. Yes those strollers will work great with you both. I am counting down the days. We don’t go till September 1st. We already have our Halloween Party tickets. But I have a few concerts to go to before Disney.

It all depends on where you are going and when you are using the service since it's based on surge pricing. We used them twice on this trip and one cost around $30 and the other $55.
