Nice vid. I'm glad you don't feel pressured to stick to format if you don't have the time. I don't care for neutral palettes but those shimmers in the Lorac palettes look pretty. The Zoeva brush vault is pretty cool. I think my holiday purchase this year is gonna be one each of an eyeshadow palette, face palette, highlighter and brush set. Been eyeing the Sonia G Sky set, but if I get that, I've got no money for anything else lol. If I could have ordered from Ulta I'd consider this.

So, the Josie Maran Argan oil, I got some in my Ipsy bag, and I liked it, it absorbs quickly and feels like a dry oil. Story time, I had ordered an eyeshadow single by mail and I came destroyed, just broken. I had used alcohol, setting spray, toner to fix broken makeup before, but I wasn't fond of the alcohol now added, and I didn't like how it dried out the product turning it chalky-like. So, I mixed a few drops of Josie Maran oil to the broken shadow, pressed into the pan, and let it set overnight. Well, it worked. That's my own personal hack to revive dried out shadows, chalky shadows, overly powdery shadows. I have an Estee Lauder palette that I love the color story, but some of the shadows were too dry, really hard to pick up with a brush, and the shimmer shades were just chalky too. I put a few drops over the problem shades, smoothed it over the shades with my finger, let set overnight, it absorbs in, and makes the shadows perform better. I also mixed a few drops into my hands with hand cream, as I also have really dry hands too.

*Hey Jen, Josie Maran's products are my favorites and you're right, her Argan Oil IS BETTER than the less expensive ones because hers is first cold pressed by hand. The best products I've used are the SPF 47 moisturizer. I wear it every day as my SPF. The Sugar Scrub is amazing, Argan balm on dry skin will heal any Eczema or dry, cracked skin. The Divine Drip Honey Butter Balm for body and the whipped face butter or Divine Drip Sleeping Nectar for face are my favorite products. Besides the oil, of course!*

I imagine they will. I don't think the multipurpose sticks are all that great - they're too frosty and/or glittery for most people. So hopefully they will produce a better cream blush!

@@carriemeadows3518 have you tried the cream blush palettes? I got the light and dark version because I’m a blush fiend, and they’re pretty great actually. I have a bunch of stila convertible colors and such and I think Elf is more pigmented and goes on really well even compared to those.

I agree with you too... tamper proof seals on any cosmetic items for sure. I have expressed my concern with Essence a few times now regarding the cosmetics not having seals on them. The reply I received recently was that they try to avoid unnecessary packaging as for sustainability reasons we want to avoid unnecessary waste where possible. When I purchase a Essence mascara, I gently pull out the wand from the tube... if it feels tight when I'm taking the wand from the tube, I know that the mascara hasn't been opened. The same goes with the Make me brow product too. I'm hoping that if more consumers express their concern about the lack of safety seals on their products possibly they will consider doing so. It looks like they just updated the formula, but not a lot of new shades. The meraki palette looks to be an updated pro 3, based on the shade names. I’m excited to get mine to compare! Thank you so much for the swatches!

I know this is super late! I never shop instore but I went to ulta to try and snag a hocus pocus palette (no luck) but I looked and the essence products and NONE of them have the little metal foil protector so that you know they haven't been used. So not just your products. Picked up the hemp powder you showed and worked great on undereyes.

Well well well Lorac 😵 I’m actually interested after seeing these new palettes, and I’m a big fan of their eyeshadow palettes from years ago but they truly did need an update to compete with all these new formulas. Love the Josie Marian products Jen! 😍 The body & face butters 🙌🏼, the Pure Argan Milk Intensive Hydrating Treatment is my saving grace during dry winter months along with the Argan Infinity Cream Intensive Creamy Oil. ALL her stuff is really amazing including her sunscreens 👌🏼

Jen Phelps we’re both battling dry and maturing skin 😕 I would highly recommend you buying a travel size of the Argan Milk Hydrating treatment from Sephora. I use it around my dry eye area before putting on makeup and before bed. The bottle lasts a good amount of time. Can’t wait for your Lorac video!! 😊

That Zoeva brush vault is gorgeous! I'm so jealous...and honestly it's not even for the brushes (although I would love to have the brushes of course). But that canister and the individual compartments with the magnetic closure just really gets me. I'm a sucker for things like that; anything that looks cool or has great ways to store things. I can already think of 2 or 3 uses for it just writing this out. Lol Oh, and I also know that I don't have the kind of money to buy that set...even though I saw it is for sale and not just a PR thing. Anyway, on to the next topic, I do have one of the Elf Ride or Die lip balms in berry boss and I love it. It has a great scent, has some color and its comfortable to wear without being sticky or drying out my lips further. (Which is what some lip balms and things in that category can do, unfortunately!) The Lorac palettes look very convincing. I saw pictures of those on Ulta website but they looked dark. They definitely remind me of the new Natasha Denona palette. If you could compare those would be great. I am still deciding whether to get the Natasha Denona, but the Lorac could be a substitute. Hi Jen, Its so nice to hear a size Medium. I feel I get side looks in store when I say sz Med. Your nails look good, keep them polished it will really help from splitting & peeling. Andrew Lessmen Hair, Skin, Nails and Joints supplement really, really work. Also using a more gentle polish remover makes a hugh difference. I recommend Mineral Fusion for removal. Long long lasting Lights Lacquer base & top coats man I get an entire 7 days before any wear. Kathleen Lights nailed it Haha no pun intended favs Girl Power & Rosie colors.
