Before you applied the eye makeup I could tell that it made your cheek color pop more. Perhaps you misunderstand what a setting spray does. It is not meant to prevent oiliness. Carry rice paper to blot as needed. It doesn't cover up the oily skin. It is meant to fix the makeup in place and keeps it from spreading or smearing. Perhaps keeping the makeup from melting.

Oh that’s interesting, I didn’t notice that, but now that you are saying it I do kind of see it! Maybe it’s because it made my skin wet? And thus more pigmented. Or maybe it did really enhance my blush. X

I was considering buying this as i have super oily skin, but then i thought £10 is a lot for a setting spray. Also read the ingredients on it and they're basically the same as their other setting sprays! And now watching your video, I'm not going to bother with it x

I think it wouldn’t do any harm, but I don’t think it would do much good either. I would honestly go for something else. A tip I like to use when I don’t want to be shiny is applying powder before foundation. Just a thin layer, avoiding the under eyes. Then foundation, concealer and regular powder application on top. X

@EmmaNorgaard You're right. It's when you threw on the eyeshadow that threw me off. Sorry. Most people do ALL of their makeup first _then_ set it. But, ah, yes, I see now. And still the point is that it's not a great product. So Thanks. 😊
