@@donalrodgers123 idk but tested on few other high load tools where you can see the same difference, new 4ah is slightly more powerful than 5ah which makes sense because 4ah can do 60A and 5ah can do 50A

Hey Mate, do you think this battery makes a big difference in power on the LS002G mitre saw?
@BuildsStuff Жыл бұрын
No. That saw controls the RPMs so all batteries run at the same speed. You might get more torque however.

Problem is the batteries are too heavy. I role with 4amps in my hand tools and they’re too heavy for a full days use.

Well these new cells have around double the power output so it looks like this saw can use all the extra power no problems :)

I need some suggestion: I work as a welder/fabricator and I use a 2nd grinder with the 40v lineup. Only got a 2.5 ah battery that run out fast and thinking about buying a new one. I can get the 5ah battery for 350 nzd or the new 4ah for 390 ish nzd. What are your thought on this?, Im thinking about the need for a F variant but also longevity and weight on daily use
@BuildsStuff Жыл бұрын
You can't have all three things. They both will give about the same power boost over the 2.5Ah. The 5 will run longer but weighs more. Nothing more to it really.
@aaronoconnor60611 ай бұрын
I would say the new 4 ah battery is worth it having used the 5 on my grinder the 4 ah is way better balanced tool in the hand. Also the new high output battery's don't get as hot so in theory they should have a longer lifespan
@99xela994 ай бұрын
Are the new high out puts equivalent to the standard 5ah? looking at getting a few new batteries for the 450mm chainsaw, but want to use them in my other tools to, so don't really like the idea of the 8ah and the 5ahs look pretty chunky to

thanks for your videos man :-) do you think, if I put two of these BL4040Fs to my brush cutter UR012, will a runtime be much better in comparison with 2xBL4040 or 4050F? or what battery would you recommend to use with UR012? I didn't want to have big batteries - I would rather buy smaller 4040F in order to use it with my impact or drill. thanks!
@BuildsStuff11 ай бұрын
The BL4040Fs will give you the same runtime as BL4040s, but will give you the power boost of using the 4050Fs

IDK about extra money. Most of my 4040's are from kits as bonus battery, to buy it separately I will pay around ¹ 130-170$. But 4040f's were 150$ each. Some evil bastard got 4 of them😈

$40 extra RRP...maybe worth it but I generally buy kits and they probably wont include them...or I buy off gumtree/marketplace people sell spares all the time for much cheaper. $300AUD for this battery FML I want to retire already tool prices are killing me.
