@@roger3958 The chocks are so the car doesnt roll when lifted. The parking brake and drive train only work on the rear, so when lifting from the diff the car is essentially in neutral. In terms of the ramps, one tiny mistake in forgetting to put the car in gear / engaging the parking brake = car rolls. The car cannot roll on jack stands. TLDR: your life is worth more than $150 in jack stands and wheel chocks from harbor freight.

It's gonna be even louder once it breaks in, I was disappointed in my borla s type for the first 1,000 miles, but it really came to life after, and now 30,000 miles later both the Cobb downpipe and borla cat back are perfect. Really accents the turbo whistle on spool down and has more deeper tone and subie rumble then any other exhaust I've herd on a FA wrx.

I have a circuit werks dual resonated front pipe and it just has a tab, not that triangle. All the photos I've seen from jdl web store have the front pipe with just a tab as well. Mine sat about ¾ inch too high and seemed to cause nvh, so I added some rubber isolators to the hangar which helped with fitment.

Ive always found subie boxer 4s to be obnoxiously loud with an exhaust. Sounds like a lawn mower. They sound better with subtle exhaust systems. Drone is a major problem with these too. Gets old really quick

You need to check for any potential exhaust leaks. It's easier with two people. One has to get underneath the car and feel around all the connection points for any escaped pressure while the other keeps the engine revved up to 3k rpm. Maybe go to someone who has a lift.

That is louder than mine and I have a full exhaust with a header. It is massive tubing, which may or may not be a good thing. It will definitely create more resonance and drone. Thats just what big pipes do. I dont think that "old" HKS system would be hilding any power back comoared to this.

Hey man my car should be coming soon as I ordered a few months ago, how is the cold start! On this exhaust, I saw other videos of this exact exhaust from MAPerf and it sounded more muffled at the cold start once it is turned on. In this video your car sounded a bit louder I live in a quiet neighborhood and I just want to make sure it’s not way to loud as soon as I turn on my car, however I did like how it sounded when your drove it! 🔥🔥🔥if you can reply that would be very much appreciated man!!! 🔥oh wait I think because also you have the aftermarket gdl front pipe correct?
