just the sound of the martini firing from the player perspective makes it one of the best guns in a game. makes it sound like one is shooting an actual rifle. I can almost feel the kick into my shoulder.

Hate this "quest", right now I have 13/25 kills with AT mines...and it pisses me off, that in 3-4 times when I am on Amiens I don´t get a single kill...and in other one I get 6 kills from 2 vehicles, then 2 weeks nothing, they should have put 25 AT rocket kills instead. Other Challenges are much easier (even Limpet Charge, multikills are not that hard).

Just go into Conquest and lay down all three mines in a close triangular pattern on a road somewhere, then do it again somewhere else after several minutes or after someone drives over the mines and dies a fiery explosive death. You'll get that part of the quest done easily like that.

The Bayonet Charge misses 95% of the time. So I removed all the bayonets from my guns.

Every time is used it, I passed through the guy. I only remember killing like 2-3 guys with the bayonet charge in my 80 Hours of play (Level 80).

I don't have much trouble with its accuracy. But it desperately needs a unique button for its activation. Every time I try to melee someone while running I just bayonet charge and get killed easily without getting a hit in. It's making me not want to use the bayonet at all.

I don't know what you're talking about when you say the bayonet charge needs to be nerfed. On console, 80% of the time it just dodges around the person. And added health my ads, I did quicker when I charge. Maybe they could only nerf it on PC?

The Martini Henry Sniper is crap. It's a close range sniper with a long range scope, and when you use it for close range, the scope glare keeps revealing your position. It's only usable when the enemy does not notice your presence. I got way more kills with the Infantry variant consistently. Maybe if your screen is small and you can't see shit with the iron sights then you may prefer the Sniper variant, but I don't see any real reason to use the Sniper variant.

I recently found that while trying to get 300 kills for the sniper variant, getting close enough to shoot once with a sidearm and then quickly finishing with the Infantry variant is very effective as this goes around the 90 through 99 damage range.

It would have been really cool to see a Martini Henry Carbine with an optical sight instead. Because it still is useful as a short range rifle, but with the optical sight, you can extend your effective range a bit further through a much clearer sight and also 2.50x magnification

The big stub on infantry sniper rifles is why I like the Lebel Infantry. It's iron sights come to a pin so it's much easier to see targets at range

Domination was great for me unlocking the Sniper variant. The flags tend to be sweet spot distances from each other just stick to the back end of your team and pick off enemies as they push or camp for enemies trying to flank your flags. I love the standard martini and its my go to in scout aside from the russian for long distance. But the scope is a fun add for small game mode sniping maps and even frontlines.

Its funny how real world experience plays really well in this game as I had few issues doing head shots with iron sights. Once I figured out the Henry is most lethal at closer range then others all you have to do is place the post on their head and boom. My kill counts are through the roof with this gun and I can't get enough with it its just to much fun to play with. I'd love to shoot the real thing, that would be sweet.

I love sooo much the martini henry... Infantry variant of course... It's the best weapon for objective playing scouts. Ironically, it's an outdated rifle for ww1, yet it is one of the most appreciated from scouts. Just when u here the sound when u fire it's so satisfying

I started using the Martini Henry with the new DLC, and my kills with my pistol went from around 300 to 650 with around 700 Martini Henry kills. I don't always get 1 hit kills, but I can finish a guy off with my pistol 3/5 times if I hit them once but don't kill them. It's a lot of fun

Played Amiens, and found a spot(the lonely house near the bridge at D flag next to the field gun) and got 50 kills streak just being there. it has nice spot on the first floor you can kill everyone beyond the bridge and you got cover from all other areas.

What I like to do is to start using the martini for a while(I use a lot the infantry ver. of most snipers) then I change to the SMLE infantry and I feel like the bolt action is like quick AF and destroy the enemy team as a consequence.

The scope helps a whole lot on the console where it's harder to be precise because of the controller.

in 200% damage servers the gewer 98 infantry variant is like a martini Henry with a pin point accurate iron sight on it that fires so fast , I literally go on 50 to 70 kills to about 15 deaths at most on average with it.

I use the martini for long range anti-camping, what I do is take the trench periscope, zoom in, find their range, and sight in my rifle, then you will easily hit people from long range.

Doing this assignment really made the martini grow on me but I still prefer the m95 and smle for close range, the 1895 for medium, and the g98 for long range. I will take this over the 1895 trench and the lebel

I'm glad to see PC bayonet still works. It's absolutely buggy on PS4. There's been many of times an invisible person charges me or I can't connect with the charge. There was also a time where someone charged at me I dodged, I saw the smoke coming from his gun and heard his bullets. But somehow he ended up behind me. They didn't even show him when I died. This game was murdered with each patch. The latest just put it out of its misery.

88 percent of kills i needed to get the Lebel infantry were assists count as kill. i think it's a good rifle. love the feel and im good at leading shots. in 5 weeks i got from 3456 kills to 5109 kills using weapons where i have to lead like crazy and i think about 75 percent of my shots landed

The bayonet charge is OP but only when you have great ping. the amount of times I charge at someone and run straight through them without getting the kill just because their ping isn't the best.

I have a question, I play on console and I have both the DLC and the hellfighter (skin) pack, my problem is that it doesn't allow me to get the doughboy 1911, even though when i look at my "weapons and gadgets" tab, it's there but when I look on my actual classes, it's nowhere to be seen...anyone know why?
