The 24th installment of "Amazing Spider-Man Masterworks" is one of my favorite books this year. Getting the "Alien Costume Saga" in a beautiful hardcover format is, pun intended, Amazing! This is a criminally underrated run of "Spider-Man," and I'm so grateful that this is collected! And Vol. 25 is coming too! We're only three MMWs away from the marriage era!

How can I say no to 50 minutes of Omar talking comics.🙂 But considering picking up the X-Men epic. My will is slowly weakening ha ha. I blame you Omar😁😉 That Spider-Man masterwork is my favourite classic era. I cannot see ASM 16 coming before the next masterworks get there unfortunately now😞

The Savage Avengers graphic novel has fantastic art. It’s great seeing Deathlok. I bought his earliest appearances when they first came out.

Actually, all of the issues of Amazing Spider-Man Masterworks Vol 24. were also collected in the Amazing Spider-Man Epic Collection - Ghost of the Past; not just Spider-Man - The Alien Costume Saga trades. Other than that, I'll definately buy that X-Men Epic Collection, thank you for your videos!

Well, "Ghosts of the Pasts" doesn't include ASM #252-258.

@@MastermindAXL Yes, if you have Ghost of the Past and you don't mind for the PPSSM and MTU issues, you can go for that Masterwork, it looks gorgeous; but if you want those other issues, Alien Costume Saga is the way.

Ha, Splinter of the Mind's Eye was based on a novel, the first piece of "Expanded Universe" literature that ever existed. If Star Wars hadn't done well, Splinter would've been the basis for a low-budget sequel. I really like the novel, just had some great atmosphere. I've been meaning to read the comic adaptation for years, so maybe I'll start getting SW Epics?

The whole Rūna the Valkyrie stuff is actually even more confusing The Valkyrie played by Tessa Thompson in the movies is actually Brunnhilde, the same Valkyrie we've always seen in the comics. But she's very different in the movies, so Marvel made a new character called Rūna that is more like the MCU's Brunnhilde

Omar, you gotta check out the original X-men 92 stuff if you haven’t. It started as a Secret Wars Tie in and then had another 10 issues after. I think a complete collection comes out next spring
