New mask for marbling and pre-shading

Did I stumble upon the best mask for marbling, pre-shading etc?

I think you can also stretch that material in several directions, carefully, and modify the "density" of the mask.

It looks a LOT like Sewing Stabilising Tape used in sewing, for lining fabrics or using on hems. ( yeah....my wife sews.......a LOT 😂)
